Their delivery service if horrendous, twice my pizza has just disappeared and never arrived, the last time that happened I called the store twice and no one picked up.

Super helpful. I forgot to add something to my order and they handled it fast and efficiently.

Casual spot for very creative pizzas. They are quickly made, thin crust, and offered with a fabulous array of topping combinations. I stopped in while charging at the Tesla Charges in the same parking lot, and the server aligned my meal timing with my charger timing with impeccable performance once I let her know.

We were in a lunch crunch at our office and called in our order to this Papa John’s location and they had 7 hot large pizzas delivered to us in under an hour. Thank you for your fast service and for delivering a delicious lunch enjoyed by all!

My mom and I used to come here to eat lunch and dinner. Food was overpriced and underwhelming.

In addition, I am also not impressed by the service. Not only was I a former customer, but a former employee as well. Co-workers and owners were passive aggressive towards me, and made me feel very under appreciated. It was a very toxic, cliquey work environment.

Crust Pizzeria is the place to go for amazing and delicious fresh-made appetizers and pizza that will leave you satisfied! I went recently with my
co-workers for their happy hour and they did not disappoint! I want to say thank you to Kimia for going above and beyond to make our first dine-in so special and fun with the lovely table decorations!! Anthony was a top-notch server and along with all the accommodating servers who provided a friendly and welcoming environment. I recommend this place for all your special occasions and get togethers!!!

Whether it's delivery/take-out or dine-in, the quality of the food is premium! I dined in for the 1st time after having delivery a few times, and the ambiance is social, modern, fun, spacious, warm and inviting. From the salad, to the appetizers to the pizza and cocktails/drinks, every bite/drink was delicious! Highly recommend the cauliflower & brussel sprouts appetizer, the Ana and Gayle pizzas and stardust cocktail! The staff is also the friendliest making you feel like you are at their own home. Huge thank YOU to Kimia and Anthony for taking care of my coworkers and I tonight!! More future happy hours to come and can't wait!!! :-)

We ordered delivery and the pizza did not disappoint!!!

Everything was solid from salads to the pepperoni to the vegan cheese (although they could cut the quantity of the vegan cheese on the pizza in half… maybe ask for less of it when you order). Fresh, hot, and tasty. You’re the office hero if you order this for your crew. 😉

Finally had the opportunity to try this place. Very good Milan style pizzas. Very thin crust and limited cheese. We ordered several different types and they were all exceptional. Will definitely be going back.

The chicken pesto pasta was amazing. And the dessert was delicious. The service a little slow but not bad, considering that was holiday season. Inside was a little noisy so we preferred to seat outside.

I am a fan of papa johns pizza and this location hits me different. Their pepperoni pizzas are the best papa johns pizza I have ever had - much more flavorful and go well with special garlic sauces

Came here in a quiet and slow night. Truly the best pizza in San Diego. Cute red chair. Service 5 stars, i love the accent. I will definitely come back.

Amazing, flavorful food! This restaurant located in the Sky Deck had a great wine and beer selection (although no alcohol is served) and the food was delicious. It's small place within the Sky deck area and the whole place is loud - not a good spot for a quiet or intimate dinner. I had a nice Italian blonde ale and we shared the capriccio (the cheese was divine!) Then my husband had a pizza and I had the whole branzino. It's $47, which is a bit steep by the fish was quite large and the tomato sauce was a flavor bomb.

Service was very good, staff is very courteous!!
The atmosphere is also nice, both indoors and outdoors seating.

Food : Average taste. Did not feel like a premium exclusive Italian kitchen.
Not many vegetarian options. Also they don't have vegetarian or vegan options labelled in the Manu but they are happy to customise the pizza or pasta for you and add veggies on top of their basic vegetarian options.

One of the best pizza places downtown hands down. NY style pizza but its not like Bronx pizza on Washington. Both places are amazing and no they are not better than the other, they are both top contenders for the best pizza place in SD. You walk in, ask for a slice or two, they'll warm it up and call you when its ready. You can also order a full pizza. No ketchup, no Mustard, no Mayo, and NO RANCH! But they have cheese and peppers packets, thats all you need honestly. The pizza speaks for itself. Delicious. Amazing. And most importantly, Life changing. I kid you not, you will be a different person after you try this pizza.

Been to NY and Las Vegas location and this time around, not so good. The crust was chewy, not as crunchy as other locations. 1. It’s yesterday’s pizza reheated, thus not fresh, or 2. Not left in oven long enough to make crust crunchy, either way, not as good. Only this location comes with a nice whiff of homeless or late night drunk urine smell at the door.

There were strands of hair that were on my pizza. Having hair on food implies many things about the quality of the food made and the safety of what we are eating. It is disgusting to see someone’s hair on my pizza because who knows what and where that person’s hair might have been. Disgusting.

everything about this place was heaven sent! we dined at the Del Mar location and Jorge D was the most kind waiter. we sat at the bar and LOVED being able to see the kitchen staff do their thing. the pizza is famous and delicious but my new goal is to try all the pasta on the menu, the rigatoni was incredible!!

I hosted a party at Pitchers. Everyone had a great time. The wings, sliders and pizza were amazing. The service that our large group received was great. I highly recommend anyone to consider Pitchers patio space for parties/events.

Thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience at Ambrogio. Our server, Caleb was so kind and helpful. One of the best Pizza in Northern San Diego area. Good dessert, wine choices and ambience. Will try again for sure.

Well, it took three years, but I finally found East Coast pizza here in Southern California! If the name is familiar to you, it’s because Prince Street in Manhattan is one of the best pizza places there is. The sauce on this pie; the correct cheese to sauce ratio, and the plethora of great pepperoni slices cut just the right way were perfect. Also, the crust was just crispy enough to remind me of New York. The Square cut had almost a Greek feel to it. When I get back to Swampscott, I’m going to tell one of Portnoy‘s buddies that he needs to try Prince Street in San Diego when he comes to Del Mar. One bite, everybody knows the rules… Now, if I can just find good bar pizza like they have in Lynn, Lynn the city of sin…

Lovely atmosphere, great food, great service, in an amazing shopping area that is cool and has relaxed vibes, making it different from a normal shopping center. North Italia never disappoints!

This is a great place to grab a quick slice or even buy a full pie if you want to. It’s a thicker crust on most of the pizzas, but they do have regular crust options as well. The serve healthy servings of toppings which is the reason why you come here. These manly portions of pepperoni, and sausage are the reason to come here.

We could taste that the pasta here was freshly made. The chicken pesto was some of the best pesto I've had. The patio was very dog friendly and there was a ton of seating. We were here on a Sunday evening and the service was quick. If you want good Italian food and don't want to have to go all the way to Little Italy, this is definitely your spot.

CHAMPION OF PEPPERONI
The pepperoni was a standout feature of this pizza, with mini-petite slices that had crisp edges, creating an irresistible savory of greasiness and paprikerie of flavor.  I've never had a better pepperoni slice in any state.  Though I've had better veggie and margherita (Gaetano's Pizza).

I went on Friday at 5 PM and no line!!!
Expected pizza customer service, "Whattda you like today?". From ordering to food it was less than 10 minutes. The slices were lukewarm. Take-out only. Limited stand up eating in front of the business at the curb.

This Italian resto is centrally located in One Passeo Del Mar and its outdoor seating is perfect for San Diego lifestyle. It's interior design is modern and cozy. We got the Squid Ink pasta and spaghetti meatballs and both were very sumptuous and flavorful. We got zucca chips for apps and it's so delicious. We'll definitely come back.

Had an absolutely amazing experience with a pizza making class at Ambrogio15 for my dad's birthday and it was beyond perfect. We have a big family at 9 people, so I was initially concerned about the logistics, but everything was smooth and there was enough space for each person to make their own pizza.

Giacomo was extremely kind and ensured that we had everything we needed. We were able to order anything we wanted from the bar during our class and he made us feel right at home.

Zack, the pizza chef, was amazing! His depth of knowledge on pizza-making was impressive, and his teaching style was both engaging and easy to follow. Thanks to him, we not only enjoyed delicious pizzas but also learned the art and science behind each step.

The pizza itself was perfect! We tossed the dough and added our own toppings so it was personalized for each person.

I fully recommend the pizza making class at Ambrogio15. If you don't have time for a full class, the food there is top notch as well!

Last time I was at Pitchers, they were across the way back in 2018.
Sooo much better with a larger space, outdoor seating, great food and a friendly atmosphere.
With a lot of TV's playing sports, you won't be disappointed.

I'd highly recommend stopping by if you have never been here.

Been in San Diego for over 3 years and my only regret is why didn’t I find this pizza place sooner.
I went on a weekday, there was a queue but the staff was very good at taking orders so the wait wasn’t too long.
Their deep dish pizzas are way too good and the bread tastes fresh and best part doesn’t make you feel bloated.
I got the spicy spring pepperoni slice, the mercer margherita, prince perfection, and the veggie slice. My favourites were the deep dish, lots of flavour and fresh slices made this my place to the top on my list to pizza places.

Parking is tight, so it may take a while to find a spot. Recommended to have one person pick up the slices while other waits in the car.

All in all, highly recommended.

I wouldn't say I'm a regular here, but I have been here quite a few times over the years. They have a great BLT. Their fries are also awesome. Both my wife and I ordered vodka and soda. The soda water was not great. We didn't complain but we didn't order a 2nd drink either. I'm hoping they figure the soda thing out on their own. The drinks are usually fine. It's a good place to go if you need a sandwich and a drink. They also have a variety of appetizers and salads. So, something for everyone really.

Great spot for a great burger. Definitely sit outside if it is a nice day it's a great spot to sit. Service was really good.

We came here for lunch after visiting Botanic Garden. I was told that they have Michelin Starred Chef and they were dubbed as THE best Italian restaurant in the SD area. Considering all the fierce competition here, it is a tall task to have. I was super duper psyched. LOL

The restaurant is small and they open at noon. It is cozy but probably not the ideal restaurant for a large party. The waiter recommended mistaken Margherita's pizza to me. This pizza was created as a tribute to Franco Pepe, Italy's Number 1 Pizzsaiolo. It comes with Mozzarella di Bufala, tomato, and basil cream source. The first bite into the slice, umm, heavenly, soooo good, So it is not just hype, it is real.

My friend ordered deconstructed lasagna. It is beef & prosciut to Crudo White Ragu, Porcini with Wine Bechamel Sauce. The dish looks like from the food magazine center fold, she said it was super yummy.

The patateespeck pizza was also very good. It comes with mozzarella, roasted potatoes, Parmigiano, and truffle oil. According to the waiter, it is a 2nd in line as the fan favorite ( the top one is Mistaken margherita's ) .

We left the restaurant satisfied. The waiter speaks Italian and shared stories with us.

They don't allow you separate checks as I acted as our bookkeeper to figure out each person's bill. I enjoyed it but if you don't, you might want to reconsider dining here with a large group.

a great local haunt. I go here once a week or so. The servers are so friendly and remember your favorite drinks and your food preferences. The back patio is nice even when it’s colder outside with the heaters and the TVs always have multiple sports on, if available. Great food with a great atmosphere. The specials (ask!!) are usually amazing. The pretzel bites and beer cheese never disappoint.

Great pizzas and food at this hidden gem. They have Gluten free pizzas that are actually very good and better than CPK's GF variety... Great ambience for chatting, nice booths on the inside with a decent bar. 8/10 would recommend especially for larger groups and for the patio room for events

The atmosphere was so chill. Great place to meet up with friends and have a beer, grab a bite and chill. Service was spot on. Clean restrooms, always a plus. Wide range of beers, ales and sours. Full bar to boot. Will return.

Moving from upstate NY to SoCal, I was super lucky to find this pizza restaurant. The red pizza here is a little bit in NY style. Crust is very thin with crunchy ring. Red sauce is just the right thing. What I love the most is their pizza is very fresh and you don’t see oil at all!!!

Ambience and the entire area/mall is really good. Parking can be tricky as I went for the first time, there is a circle and on the right is parking and we have to walk 5 minutes to the restaurant. We went there and had our names written, wait time was 10 minutes. We dinned outside, the service was quick and food was delicious. Me any my husband had a really good evening. We ordered Garlic bread with truffle oil, hazelnut dessert, margarita pizza with chicken, pasta, olive oil and bread was served when we asked and it was not added in the bill, so that's a plus.

First time visiting! This joint is just Wow! Wow! Wow! Girls night out. Went on a Tuesday night around 8pm. It was pretty busy. We were immediately seated outside. We ordered IPAs, Thai ciders and fireballs for drinks. All delicious. Then we ordered their pretzel bites, chicken nachos and sweet Thai & Cajun chicken wings. All delicious as well. They have lots of big screen TVs & great customer service. A hidden gem! I don’t say this often about anywhere; I will return and I highly recommend this joint!!

Love Ambrogio 15! This is probably one of my favorite pizza spots in San Diego. It is authentic Italian style pizza, very light and full of flavors. We went to their location in PB and it is amazing. This time we went to their Sky Deck location. We love Sky Deck, so pretty and great atmosphere. This location’s food is still as good as I remembered in their PB location. The foods are very delicious, I highly recommend their Burrata Pizza. The service is good as well. I like here a lot.

It was very nice place just on the inside of the upper balcony. It has a bar on the upper level but we sat on the main floor. I f you go you must buy the Cheese Plate, it is perfect for four people and very delicious. The margarita pizza is sooooooo good. Plus, they even know the difference between Coke and Mexican Coke (hint Mexican Coke is much better, it has a different sugar).

Amazing restaurant. The location is beautiful and the ambiance is very intimate and well designed! Came here with my wife and enjoyed a five course meal and wine flight. I can honestly say I tasted so many new flavors and unique tastes that I was completely impressed. I loved every dish that was brought out and the sommelier set up amazing wine pairings for every dish. I was completely blown away by the quality and care each dish was put together with. The portions weren't huge but I felt completely satisfied with each dish and pleasantly full in the end. The staff was very attentive and all very nice and towards the end of our meal the head chef came out and talked to us for a couple minutes which was really nice! I absolutely loved our experience here and it felt like the chef and staffed really cared about our happiness and satisfaction.

We knew that our experience would be great considering how amazing their other restaurants (ambrogio 15 pb, semola, and ciao ciao piadina) are, but ambrogio Del Mar rose above our high expectations. The back patio was quiet, beautiful, and relaxing (and Covid-safe!). Isauro’s wine knowledge and commitment to giving guests the best experience are second to none. But by far the best part was the food: the veal appetizer was unique and delicious, the arrabiata pizza featured an explosion of flavors, and the cacio e pepe with smoked cod was innovative and comforting at the same time. The service and timing were perfect. And don’t forget the dessert wine! What a great place to celebrate my birthday! Cannot wait to go back.

P.s. People should know that this pizza is authentic Milanese style, meaning thin and crispy crust. All of the meats and cheeses are fresh and imported. If you don’t want to spend a little extra on the best pizza of your life, then you should stay home and order your $5 fast food pizza. This place is not for you.

This was a nice finding today! It's a small restaurant, not in a very commercial area, in a small plaza. The food feels like homemade and authentic Italian. The desserts are delicious! Specially the one with nutella (yum!). The service is slow so be prepared to wait for your food. Overall is a place we'll go back to try other plates.

We went for a couples night out a week ago. Our friends have been here several times, and it’s my husband and my first time. Our server was very sweet and accommodating. My husband is allergic to milk protein and she was helpful in pointing out what he can have. We also wanted to share appetizers and pizza & it is great that they had vegan cheese and dessert. Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience.

I love this place! A couple of my favorite dishes are the Steak Salad, the Big Sexy Mac and Cheese (which I add chicken to), the Penne Pasta and the Flourless Chocolate Cake. I am not a huge salad lover, but this salad is so good I actually find myself craving it! And the sauce on the penne pasta is so incredibly flavorful. It is one of the best pasta dishes I've had!

I've never eaten at the restaurant yet, only gotten it to go or delivered, but the staff is always super sweet and I've had great experiences every time I've gone in.

The BURGER, FLOURLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE and the STEAK SALAD are my favorite things. I am not even a salad person but that steak makes the salad so delicious.

I have only had the food delivered or take-out. It's like a Sports Bar with lots TV's, not my thing. But it's close to the beach, so I usually take it there. They have been inconsistent with the cooking sometimes too, like the fries almost raw or way too much oil on the pizza. When they are on, it is delicious. That cake has been perfect every time and so has the salad.

The 'Arden' Pizza has Filet Mignon, blue cheese and balsamic caramelized onions. I am glad I tried it, but the blue cheese kind of overpowers the other tastes. I would switch that out if I did it again. CHICKEN + BACON + SMOKED GOUDA was a nice combination. I love that they have lots of ingredients to play around with. I do love the crust. Even just cheese with olive oil is good.

The Big Sexy Mac & Cheese and the Penne with Sausage are good too.
