I went to Papa John’s on July 3 Wednesday night was not impressed again this is the second time I’ve had problems and I’ve ordered there twice first of all the lady on the phone couldn’t understand me very well and I couldn’t understand her so I picked it up I got the two medium pizzas with three toppings each. The pizzas were ready on time, but the toppings were a few and far between didn’t have very many maybe couple of pepperonis couple of pieces of beef a few mushrooms not all not going back.

Tried to order a simple order over the phone just two pizzas was about half way through then I got hung up on. I figured I lost connection so I called back just to be put on hold for 5 minutes, than got hung up on again. The service here doesn't even seem like they care. Not sure who hired these people but probably should check in on them and make sure they are actually working.

Waited 30 minutes for a doordash order today, the worst part is that the order was already done and was sitting there for 15 minutes before he decided to give it to me. Wasting my time and letting the food get cold. I know he was busy but it takes 2 seconds to hand the food over, some people just have no common sense.

I ordered a large meat pizza thin crust and wings.
Paid in cash as machine wasn’t working.
Pizza was over done. Dry hard crust.
No flavor at all. Light on the sauce?
Wings had a strange taste.
I won’t return.

Will and the guys that work here are awesome. Food is always made super fast and pick up is smooth. Wish they delivered to Colborne but it's a far drive I get it. Food always is what I expect and the 6 cheese sausage (John's Favorite) is always my go to. I like them as the best pizza place in town because they actually answer the phone and are pleasant to talk to unlike Pizza Hut who never picks up their phone.

I recently tried this place and it was amazing! The crust was perfectly crispy and toppings were fresh. Every time I’ve ordered from them, the staff has been super friendly and helpful. It’s so refreshing to experience such great service.

Had the two pizza, wings, breadsticks, cookie, dip, and pop deal tonight. Pizza was tasty, but thinner than I remember for their handcrafted, could have been more toppings. The delivery driver we had tonight was a nice young girl, she was the absolute sweetest. She’s great for business!!! Well-deserving of any and all tips she makes!

seems to be very inconsistent here. this time it was brutal. it needed to be cooked longer as the bottom wasn't crisp or close to it. massive crust. it's like they cut back on all toppings and sauce, as well as time cooking. I never send back my food which is why I didn't call them directly. I believe in reviews. the pizza I received was not quality at all. see pics.

Always great pizzas. Love the taste of this location. Consistently a great pizza and who doesn’t love their papadias. Nice addition to the menu.

Great pizza if they don't over cook it. Always busy so there's usually a wait . But quick delivery, staff is friendly.

Easy to order the best prices and the best pizza in Cobourg. All of the people that work here are the nicest and very efficient, I have never waited on an online order. Always ready when I get there.

Got the new stuffed crust pizza... now we all know pizza pizza is low end pizza to begin with, basically a garlic dip store that sells "pizza"... but this stuffed crust was actually offensive. They take all the dough that is supposed to be the base of the pizza, and squish it all into the crust, to wrap up half a mozzarella stick. Literally the worst pizza I've had from pizza pizza, and probably the worst period. And it only cost $30!

Hello, This review is from an agitated customer. I was here last week with a few friends served by Avery, a nice girl, but she has no idea how to waitress. We waited for service, and then our drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive. Our food orders came before our drinks. We were understanding about how slow the service was. We figured it was a bad night, so we decided to give it another try tonight, but it was the same thing with a different waitress. All we did was wait for the slowest service. By the time we got our drinks and food, it was too late our experience was ruined....again.

To management, this is unacceptable. Why do you think offering your paying customers such poor service is acceptable? I read the reviews and this is an ongoing complaint, but yet it continues. The head office needs to step in and correct the poor management here and train the workers here better before they destroy your business further. Also, I noticed the waitresses had their hair down, which I found off-putting for serving food, and the tables were sticky ( so not wiped cleaned very well).

I will continue to eat a Boston Pizza but not at this location.

Went to this location Oct 11, 2023. Ordered the Xtra large take out special. It was our 1st time at this location as we are new to the area.
We were served by a a east Indian young lady. Following our order we waited inside the store while our pizza was being prepared.
I immediately noticed the women that just served us at the cash preparing a box of Onion Rings for someone else. She was arranging the rings in the box with her fingers. She had not washed her hands before touching the food. Gross!!!!
My turn - This woman then proceeded to pick up some garbage on the the floor and throw it out. She then started making my Pizza. Again, she had still not yet washed her hands. Touching the dough. Spreading the dough. Hands in the cheese. Hands in the pepperoni.
I finally spoke up and called over the other person working in the kitchen. I told him everything that this woman was doing. He immediately went over to her and told her to go and wash her hands. So so so so filthy dirty. Terrible habits should should never happen in the food industry especially when the customer is watching.
When I received my pizza I was told not to worry because pizza is cooked at over 500 degrees and all bacteria will be killed at that temperature.
Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!!!!
I argued that and said what is she doesn’t wash her hands after using the bathroom? Would that be ok because it’s cooked at 500 degrees.

“This location has lost a customer. I will never go to this location again”

The response from the owner was ridiculous. I will never be back and I will tell everyone about this.

Angela was our server tonight and I was more than impressed with her service. She was personable and made our visit very enjoyable. Recommended drinks and apps to share and everything was delicious. Can’t wait to be served by her again! <3

We have been to this location many times, but tonight was our most enjoyed visit. We were served by MJ who gave us the best customer service we've ever experienced anywhere. It is amazing servers like MJ that go above and beyond that make customers feel welcomed and appreciated. The food is great as always and served in a timely manner. Thank you to Boston Pizza for the amazing deal on the kids cards. We will be back as this is out "GO to" place now! Thanks for making our night so awesome!

I don't write review but I was so impressed with this place, I just had too. Me and my family went here for dinner yesterday for the special event. MJ was our server. Her customer service was exceptional, friendly, and efficient. She is professional while making us feel at home. She was amazing with the kids and they talked for hours after about how much they love her :). We will be back in the future and we hope MJ can be our server again. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. All around fantastic place, I highly recommend.

They forgot our table everytime. We finished our appetizers and were waiting for our dinners. The waitress asked if we just wanted our bill. I said maybe after we get our dinners. Then numerous times asking for a refill on my pop. I could understand if they were busy, but maybe 10% of the tables had people.

Going into Pizza Hut for a routine pickup I wasn't expecting much BUT boy was I wrong. My 2.5 year old daughter insisted on coming along and she was treated like royalty, and even allowed to pick a toy from a toy chest!

As pizza chains have moved from restaurants to smaller and smaller takeout focused spaces my expectations have correspondingly shrunk, however this evening's service eclipsed any expectation I could have reasonably had. Thank you to the staff for being lovely and welcoming.

We'll be back and I strongly encourage others to pop in.

"Open until 10pm". Tried to place my order starting at 4 times through the app starting at 9pm with 4 different payment methods including just pay at door option since there seemed to be card processing issues. "Okay, it happens", I said to myself. Spent 20+ minutes doing this, Pizza Hut app said to "call the Hut".

Tried calling (as prompted) right after the 4th attempt at 9:25pm to place my order over the phone, sat on hold for 8 minutes, at which every minute marker the recording told me if I "didn't want to wait I could order online". Gee, thanks Tips, how wonderful.

You might be asking right now, how is this the store's fault? Well, once I finally get through to a human, the service agent stated the stores don't like to deal with people so they send them through to the national call center instead of answering! Lovely, and now I sat on hold for so long I missed the delivery window which ends at 9:30 (how interestingly convenient...) and could no longer have food delivered, but "not to worry", says the agent, "I can go pick up." Oh can I? Can I really? *jumps in excitement*

Now I sit here wondering if the store has the option to just decline an order because they don't want to work. If not though, I guess maybe you shouldn't have sent me to the call center and should have answered the phone. Don't worry I won't make you work again, I'll take my wallet elsewhere.

We ordered 2 pizzas with wings and a drink tonight. Placed the order online, paid for extra toppings (onions). This is what extra onions looks like... This is not the first time that we have paid for extra toppings to be disappointed. Did the survey, let's see if I get a call / email response. This was the Cobourg Pizza Hut.

Worst Boston pizza service I have ever had, the server who was very impatient,
the first incident was she first asked and rudely guided us saying we need to show her id that was fine because it’s legal but the issue started that if we don’t show she’ll kick us out.
The second incident is food safety she’s cleaning all tables organizing everything and we were yelling order or asking questions to her. She never introduced herself and told she’ll be taking care of us with serving.
She never washed her hands after using chemicals to clean the table or sweeping the floor.
It felt like being brown group of people it felt racist.
She was cleaning and sweeping 🧹 under our table like she was rushing things, while we just started.

We didn’t had food since morning and planned that on our way back to Toronto, we can have good dinner at Boston pizza, because of her service and her attitude we ended up just ordering one appetizer and beer.
She didn’t add ice in our coke.
I can’t stop complaining it was such a worst experience.
I would never visit or recommend anyone this location.

The other two staff Katrina and girl at the bar were great with everything.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT GOING TO THIS LOCATION.

Pizza Hut quality has deteriorated over the years. It used to be the go-to pizza joint...now you buy your pizza from a hole in the wall with no dining room and their pizza is more greasy than that creepy drunk guy at an open bar wedding. Plus, if you're fine with overpaying for nostalgic pizza - that is absolutely nothing like before ..You Gotta Eat Here! Service was good though. UPDATE - tried it again, just average at best. Cheese only in the middle - appears as though someone might be in cost savings mode ;)

Paid $75 for a large stuffed crust and 2 medium recipe pizzas, 2 large orders garlic bread, one with cheese, one without, and a giant cookie. The garlic bread without cheese was visibly burnt and tasted like smoke. Cheese was rubbery and toppings were meh. Going to avoid this overpriced mess in future. The burnt garlic bread being boxed and sold is too much to find redemption in this location. Not the first time the food has been mediocre at best.

I got to be honest I’ve been here a couple of times, and I’ve had some great fresh pizza. I understand quality control isn’t top priority but the 20min drive up to pizza pizza was the worst decision I could have ever made. The pizza was literally disgusting….no effort was put into it…it was straight dough. Especially being the fact that I got charged extra for a garlic base to find that there’s nothing under the cheese….but then again we couldn’t see much cheese either. And the fact that it was a three topping pizza and there was barley any meat. Not sure who made my pizza but you definitely didn’t care to try at your job. My $40 would have tasted better in this instance. None the less the other times pizza was nice and cheesy and hot but this time was a serious disappointment….do better who ever you are.

Had my usual honey garlic boneless bites and tried sweet potato fries for something different. They were ok but I probably wouldn't get them again. Steak was cooked right, we usually eat at chuck's for the steak but it's been really bad where we go. 9/10 on the steak here it was done right. Girlfriend tried the salted caramel martini, 6/10 said it was almost straight vodka. Tried some hot mustard boneless bites 4/10 not mustard at all more like straight black pepper. Service was great as usual. We were going to a lot of different places but now Boston Pizza seems to be our go to spot, it just doesn't disappoint like all the other places that seem to be falling apart.

This is the second Papa John's store of this chain we are visiting. The same cleanliness, brand integrity in design and looks.

And the kids, at both locations, dishing out gr8 service with courtesy and smile.

Tried the new spicy pepperoni rolls. Great introduction to the menu. Even though it says "limited time" hope it is a fixture on the menu.

Overall great food with gr8 taste and excellent service
