Food and service were top tier. We had the pleasure of dining for Mother's Day. Everything was good even though I sent my lamb chops back, and my husband sent his steak back because they were both overcooked. The manager made sure we were satisfied when they both were recooked as well as removed both items from our bill. I think that was top-tier customer service. Our waitress Shabonne was very attentive and delivered excellent customer service. We look forward to returning again. The food and service were great! Lastly, they gave us a parting gift, a cute candle. That was so nice
The customer service was amazing. And even better our server Tina was the best. No matter how many questions I had she was more than happy to answer all of them with a smile on her face. I haven’t had customer service like this in a while. I will definitely be back at this location.
Appeared very clean, huge portions, and super friendly waitress!

Love the place, so cool and chic and the location is perfect! The service was exceptional and I truly enjoyed the atmosphere but didn't care much for the food. Ordered Timpano Benedict
(prosciutto cotto, soft eggs, hollandaise) the prosciutto was super salty and not high quality and the english muffin for sure has been frozen in the past. I expected fresh bread and bold flavors but my egg was cooked perfectly though :) Others ordered different items and enjoyed them.

Walked in for late brunch on a Sunday. Busy but no wait. DJ spinning background music giving a nice atmosphere. Well appointed dining room, craft cocktails and house made pastas. All said we enjoyed it but the prices are high and portions are tight so be prepared to eat less or spend more.

Sadly had an underwhelming experience here. Most of the food tasted decent, however EVERYTHING came out cold!! The two best tasting items were probably the truffle radiatore and the parm wheel buccatini (despite both being cold). The tuna, salmon, and burrata were 3 things that were mediocre at best, wouldn't re-order. We ordered 6 oysters, and one of them was just an empty shell. When we kindly asked our server (who was very pleasant) if she could just bring a single replacement oyster, she said no problem. A bit later she brought a whole extra order of 6 oysters, said it was on the house for the mishap. We were very grateful. When we got the bill, they charged us for that second order of oysters. We had already paid at that point and just didn't feel like bothering anymore. Left on a low note. 2.5/5 dining experience.

Sunday (today) is a beautiful day in Tampa, with perfect weather.
We decided to go to this Outback for an early dinner or late lunch so that we could sit outside and enjoy the weather.
This is one of the only Outbacks with outside seating.
We walked towards the restaurant and saw one person eating outside and another sitting outside.
We walked in and were met by a young lady who said she would show us to our seats.
We said we would like to sit outside, she paused for a minute and said she would try to find a server to take us to the outside seating.
She came back and said we could not sit outside; I asked why, and she said the server did not want to walk all the way outside to serve us and we would have to sit inside.
We were not pleased with this but said ok we would sit inside.
She led us into the restaurant, and we saw about three tables with people at them.
She walked us to the bar area and motioned for us to sit in the booth directly next to one of the full booths.
We then asked if we could sit at another booth not directly next to other people.
Mind you, only one booth in the bar area had people sitting at it. All the other booths and 90% of the seats in the restaurant were free.
The young lady said, no, this is where we seat people. I said very nicely that we could sit in a booth if that's what she wanted, but we would like a booth not directly next to the only other full table. She said, no, again that this is where she needs to seat us.
We then decided to leave and go to the Kona Grill, about 200 yards from the Outback.
They let us sit in their outside seating area. We ended up spending about $100 there.
We will not be going to this Outback again. The one on Henderson Blvd. is older, but the people are friendly and always treat us well.
You can see my five-star reviews of that Outback (on Henderson Blvd.) I was truly shocked at how we were treated.
Outback. Always hit or miss. Prices have crept up to make me now lean more toward some of the competition for a slightly better eating experience. Yet, Outback is still a place to come to just to mix things up. As did the food. The chili on this visit is 5 star fabulous. And the blue cheese pecan chopped salad is always 5 star. And the potato with the salted outside, perfect! As for the sirloin, middle of the road and slightly pricey in my opinion for the quality. And the Alice Springs Chicken, overcooked and smaller than I remember it. Lucky I got bloom sauce on the side which made the chicken better than it should have been. Eeyore loved it. I say, it's okay and hit or miss.
Usually not crowded. It's not a bad place to grab a bite to eat. Staff always pleasant. Food is good. Like most places in Asheville looks like a staffing shortage. Keep your eye open for panhanders in parking area.

We went for my wife's birthday, we made the reservation online; We arrived and they received us very well, they gave us the table ready and with a happy birthday letter to my wife! Very nice detail, we ordered some drinks, one without alcohol and one with alcohol (the margarita 10/10 recommended) her drink was not so good, the waitress's attention was always professional and pleasant, we ordered the pasta it took well over 40 minutes but it was very delicious and a good quantity, to close the waitress brought an ice cream to sing birthday! everything very good

This was my first time at Timpano and I celebrated my 23rd Birthday! My waiter Logan P. was AWESOME! He definitely made my Birthday one to remember with his service, fun personality and attention to detail. I loved all the food, pretty ambience (we sat outside and it was a beautiful day), and just the whole experience. I’m sure my friends can say the same thing. Thank you Timpano for everything, will definitely come back! :)

We went to have dinner after birthday shopping. We did not make reservations. There was a 20-minute dinner wait, which wasn't bad. We decided on not waiting and doing tabletop lounge service.

The lounge had 2 servers working together. Our main server was Samantha. She was friendly and knew plenty about the menu. Her serving was wonderful. We didn't have long periods between courses. She also gave us time to ourselves.

Appetizers: Shrimp cocktail had GIANT FRESH 🍤. So YUMMY!
Crab lobster cake was good. Sauce wasn't my favorite, but no complaints.
Salads: Caesar was a Caesar. The beet and goatcheese salad was definitely the main character tonight. I could bathe in the vinaigrette 😭
Entrees: Aged New york strip, this thing was flavorful and a huge 14-ounce thick cut.
SeaBass with miso was DELISH. I would love to see higher quality filets. My filet was not as buttery and tender as what I'm used to. Miso was delicious. Asparagus on all dishes was cooked to perfection.
Dessert: Creme Brulee was a classic style with fresh berries. It was smooth and creamy with a crispy toasty top. PERFECT. Bday plate was also provided. Loved the torte and cheesecake. 🎂

This was my first time here. We will definitely return!
Excellent brunch! The food and drinks were top notch.

We ordered the avocado toast, rigatoni, and a couple drinks (Aperol Spritz and a Calabrian chili margarita). All came out in a timely manner and each was excellent. The drinks were perfect and the food was fresh and flavorful. The pasta especially was really good. Also, our server, Josh, was fantastic.

Hope to come back soon.

we came here for our anniversary dinner, and when we got to the table, there were little hearts on the table and a note wishing us a happy anniversary and complementary dessert at the end. From start to finish everything about this dinner was absolutely amazing. I ordered my steak rare and I think a lot of restaurants are scared of cooking it rare because of how undercooked it is But I asked for rare, and they gave me rare!!! LOVE this steak was one of the best I’ve had in my life. all of the sides were very good as well. The service was top-tier and unmatched. Even though, after our entrées, appetizers, drinks, it was very expensive we will be coming back for every big celebration!! It was worth every penny.

We went there for our anniversary dinner. We had the Burrata with pistachio butter and tomato jam for starters, Radiatore with truffles and mushrooms, and Rigatoni with charred tomatoes for the mains, and creamed spinach and eggplant polpette for the sides. We also had a smoked old fashioned and Amalfi passion fruit gin drink. Since we are vegetarian and my husband doesn’t eat eggs, we were offered the gluten-free lentil pasta option, and therefore instead of radiatore and rigatoni, we had penne in other of our pasta dishes. Everything was super delicious and very filling- so much that we didn’t have room for dessert! I especially recommend the radiatore and the burrata. If you’re a vegetarian or if you don’t eat eggs, you will not be disappointed with the food at Timpano.
However, there were a few downers too. The first was that the maitre d’ was pretty rude and unwelcoming in her tone and demeanor. I had made a reservation the day before. Upon arriving, the host asked my name a couple of times and even though it is an Indian name it is not difficult to pronounce or spell. She told me she didn’t have my reservation when I had made one the day before and also called again earlier the same day before visiting to move the reservation to 8:30. However, she offered me a reservation at the moment.
The second was that even though there wasn’t too much of a rush as it was a Thursday, the waiters seemed to be running around initially and didn’t even offer or ask us for water. During the course of our dinner, our server became more attentive and asked us about the food, water and such, and packed the leftovers for us. If I go here again, it is definitely for the food.
We recently returned to Capital Grill and had another fantastic experience. We began with the lump crab appetizer, which was a delightful start to our meal. For the main course, I ordered the 10oz fillet, and it was cooked to perfection (med rare), just the way I like it. My husband had the sea bass, which we both agreed was the best we've ever had. To complement our mains, we indulged in the heavenly mashed potatoes, which were simply to die for. The overall dining experience at Capital Grill was top-notch, with impeccable service and memorable dishes. We'll definitely be returning! They get it right every single time!!

The staff was friendly, and our waitress, Angela, was attentive and had a great sense of humor. The pricing is expensive, and the portions are average. The atmosphere is pleasant, and I would recommend going for a one-time occasion.

A great, upscale restaurant to go for a special occasion or date night. We enjoyed the Chilean Sea Bass and Branzino. We also had calamari for an appetizer. The service and ambiance were incredible, and we had a wonderful date night.

Our favorite restaurant to come to for special occasions. Always phenomenal customer service, the entire staff is always helpful and hand on.

The food is absolutely amazing, my go to in sea bass, the best sea bass you’ll ever have. Their sides are also amazing!

Was not pleased here to be absolutely frank. I don’t know who the server was, but red lipstick and stockings, and bleached hair. She was not welcoming and barely greeted my party with water. This is feedback for the restaurant to improve, highly recommend delivering this to her. Other than that, everything was ok.

Thank you.

Came here for a company 🥳 party. Had reservations & it took a few minutes but we were seated & attended to cordially. Tried the appetizer the calamari which was really good. Also the 2 different breads were great. I tried the jumbo lump crab cake which was spectacular & paired it with a tequila drink called the ✈️ flight. Really good was about $17. Then I tried the Cesar salad which was also fantastic. For dinner I did the 14oz NY strip steak $59 then added a lobster tail $32. I did get roasted garlic mash $16 & asparagus $22 as additional a la carte sides. For desert I had the warm butter cake $26. It left mote to be desired. Wasn't what I had hoped for felt too buttery & the sauce was a bit too tart for me. Not bad but I will try something different next time. Overall everything was excellent. This place is expensive but you do get what you pay for. Service was exceptional.
Love the Hyde Park area, always a fun time. Interior is very clean and "tropical" vibes. It was very busy as we went on a Saturday however we were lucky enough to be able to sit up at the bar which is what we prefer anyways. Service was a bit slow, 10-15 min sometimes before check ins, drink orders were placed but then I feel like they were forgotten about as it took 20 min just to bring my wife a wine refill. Cocktails were good though and well executed. We weren't super hungry as we just split an app and a main entree however the salmon burger was very delicate and fresh. I want to come back for sure and give a full dining experience a try. Nothing would deter me from trying Timpano again.

Italian... it says on the sign but I think the operators only know the country and, above all, the very good, outstandingly well-seasoned and well-presented food from glossy magazines. If it's first class I can open a restaurant here at any time!!! and I'm not a cook, sorry for that. we shouldn't talk about the price at all, it's something like overpriced, we've already paid a lot of money but we've never had such a bad meal... will we come back??? Certainly not and unfortunately we cannot recommend it to anyone. I would strongly recommend a trip to Italy to everyone who works in the kitchen...it would be an experience and would raise the quality to another level.

I came here for the first time on my birthday. The birthday dessert was a special touch that I thoroughly enjoyed. The service was good and food was okay (nothing to brag about). For reference, I ordered the chicken w/ mushroom risotto (I added black pepper) and creamed spinach. I wish the spinach was hot in temperature not warm. The overall experience was good.

Wife's Birthday Dinner at the Capital Grill Tampa 12/10/23

I haven't been here In a decade plus. Instead choosing Eddie V's, Ruth's Chris and Charlie's in its place. Bad decision.

Not sure what they did but they dialled it in. Service was Second to none (thanks Matt) and EVERYTHING more then exceeded our expectations.

Service as a 10/10. The initial entry was warm and inviting. We asked after our apps, if we could move to a booth that became free (not fans of tables and when we arrived the place was packed). The manager came and said no problem how is that table. Again, warm and inviting. Our server, Matt was also a 10/10. He went above and beyond. Explained the menu in fine detail and with personality. Always checking on us and making sure we were enjoying our time, and if we needed anything. Never rushed and never intrusive. One of the best servers we have EVER had. And that is saying a lot.

The craft cocktails were also 10/10. some of the best we have had at a resturant. An amazing Black Tie Margarita, amazing Espresso Martini and Amazing Mule with reserve Belvedere vodka. Wasn't a fan of the run drink but that was because I don't enjoy mango.

Appetizers also a 10/10.

She had the lobster bisque (Matt's recommendation) and was creamy, the correct amount of Sea taste and full of good sized chunks of lobster. 10/10

Bacon wrapped mozz was a surprising and amazing choice also. Don't sleep on this. Out of the three this was the most Amazing. 10/10

We also tried the Tuna Tartar which was extremely fresh and hit on all cylinders. I can't pinpoint anything wrong with it other then the other apps outshines. 9/10

Split a field greens salad with an amazing parm vinegarette that I will be searching for the recipe. The portions on the spilt were big which we loved.

Perfectly cooked filet for her and an outstanding Veal Chop for me. The quality of the meat was on par with the better places we visit the veal chop was outstanding (cena in Tampa also has one of the best). We shared asparagus that were properly prepared without stalk issues.

The food was 10/10 all Of it. Including the comp b-day dessert.

May have been one of the best dinning experiences we have had in a very, very long time (outside of Beau and Mos in st Pete which sets the grading bar high).

The food and drinks are the superstar but without Matt as a server it wouldn't of been 10/10

We will be adding this into our rotation replacing Ruth's Chris and Eddie V's.

Was blown away with what he have been missing.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Capital Grille. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the onion and pumpernickel breads were fresh and warm, enhancing the overall meal. The desserts were heavenly and simply melted in your mouth.

A special shout-out to our waiter, Matt, who was not only friendly but also incredibly helpful throughout the evening. His attentive service added to the enjoyment of our meal. I highly recommend Capital Grille for an outstanding dining experience

Food was delicious, atmosphered was great. However, our server Olivia was not attentive at all. She took forever to bring refills, didn’t communicate to us their policy on how the checks are done. Olivia was extremely rude and wouldn’t help us split the bill among couples instead wanted the entire check split evenly which we did not want to do. She wanted us to do her job for her because she was incapable of comprehending how to split checks among couples. The tip that is mandatory was $130… definitely not deserved for such unprofessional service. She began to get rude and one of the people with us over heard her speaking ill of us to other servers. The bartender/ manager on duty was very professional and attentive. Which made things better.

Whenever we get to Tampa, Ocean Prime is always a must. Our waiter Jim and his assistant Nick did an incredible job all night. The appetizers were awesome and the steaks and fish were amazingly cooked. Great wine choices and the desserts were on point as well. The only thing I wish they would do is enforce the dress code more. I understand not turning away money but if you are going to put rules on the website then have the door guy enforce them. Other than that, we absolutely love coming here every time we are in town.

To our surprise, there is an Ava in SoHo. We loved the pizza at the Joinery location, and we're excited to try this location. The decor is very nice and spacious. I started with a ravioli (average) and the bread service, which was the best restaurant bread I've had—the texture of a soft donut with a perfectly crispy exterior. Paired with the whipped ricotta and honey, it's AMAZING. I had to have the Bestia again, but it's not as good as the joinery location(less cheese and sausage). The margarita pizza was very good with pepperoni. Service was okay, but I would definitely return for the bread service option.

Today was a special celebration and I’m grateful to have chosen Ocean Prime as the location. The table was decorated in preparation without needing to request it. These little details separate the best from the rest. The staff sat us within a few minutes of arriving. We were greeted and served with water and a contrail order was taken promptly. The service was well timed but we never felt rushed. The bread, appetizer, soup, main course and dessert were all full of flavor and expertly prepared. I cannot say enough how much I appreciate not only the staff and service provided but also the quality of the food and the flavor pairing throughout entire experience. Thank you and we will be back soon!

We came in for a happy hour around 530pm. Ordered the meatballs and basilica pizza and the mussels. The meatballs tasted like chef boyardee can meatballs. It was terrible. And it was room temperature which means it was precooked and just put on top of hot tomato sauce. The mussels had good flavor. They forgot our bread so we had to ask the food runner to bring us some. And then the bread ended up tasting like “ coal”. I watched them put it over high fire and “ grill “ it. And that Smokey flavor was too pungent for us to enjoy dipping the bread in the mussel pesto sauce. The pizza was the best thing. It was tasty and decent 8inch size. The drinks were also good as we only ordered a beer and Tito’s grapefruit. The restaurant itself was very big, open and bright. The bartender was friendly. But you can see she was overwhelmed as she worked the entire bar and high top area alone! While other staff was shooting the shxt and laughing. The restaurant has potential but definitely needs a revamp on the food. Would I come back? Definitely not for food but maybe for drinks.

I have been gluten free for 13 years so I love it when I come to a restaurant and they have a gluten free menu. Outback takes care of its customers with allergies & I love it.
I came for the dessert, the salmon was a bonus.
I ordered the perfectly grilled salmon, I had it served with the fresh veg: squash, zucchini & carrots. I’ve never had their sweet baked potato, so I tried this for the first time.
Very good, it comes with honey butter and brown sugar.
For dessert, the best part of the meal I ordered the only gluten free dessert
The chocolate thunder from down under.
This is a pecan brownie served with warm chocolate sauce, chocolate shavings and vanilla ice cream. Ahmazing!
Switching it up I tried the Pina Koala
A Bacardi martini ~ tasty 10/10

Went to Ava for the first time Saturday morning for brunch with my mom. The service, food, and atmosphere was top notch. We had originally gone to another restaurant in Hyde park but left due to poor service. We arrived at Ava a few minute before opening and their doors were locked. We were going elsewhere but then a sweet young lady named Or ran out to greet us. She said they were just opening in a few minutes and we could come in and look at the menu. Not many places do this she was amazing. We then had Jacob as our server, he gave us great recommendations and we had an amazing brunch. We will be back again for brunch and to try dinner here. Amazing service with delicious food, too!

I came here once and I don’t think that I will go back. The food was good but service wasn’t the best. They sat us down and the table and seats were dirty and sticky. This was very offsetting. We also waited a while to get waters for the table and no one was hardly in there. They do have valet which is cool that’s $7 and when you bring your ticket inside, you get $5 off of your meal so you only end up paying $2 for parking.

We wanted to try a brunch spot while visiting Tampa and came across this place. One of the best brunches we have had! Great brunch atmosphere/vibes as we went on a Sunday morning. Place quickly filled up after we got there. Started with the biscuit and gravy and the bottomless mimosas for $20 a person to start which was a great value and tasted great. Wife got a 2 egg breakfast and I got the monte cristo which was excellent. We will definitely be back for brunch again when in the area.

It was convenient to do an online reservation. We were seated within 5 minutes of that time. It wasn't busy, and a few tables cleared, so it was odd we had to wait. Once seated, the food was amazing 😋. It was a calm atmosphere. Wait staff was friendly. It seems the cook brings out the meals 👨‍🍳 The presentation of each dish was beautifully done and well thought out. If you are looking for a beautiful meal, this is the place. The wings' appetizers was only a few pieces and average taste.

Had the steakhouse nachos and the jumbo shrimp and grits. The nachos were so good, and a good portion size could have been ordered as a meal instead of as an appetizer. The shrimp and grits were good, but it felt as if they were messing a bit of seasoning. The flavor profile was good but not as bold for my liking. The bartender was quick, friendly, and informative.
I had steak & eggs, the steak was a little overcooked but edible. My wife had fried French toast, she said it was good (she didn't know it was that big) the berries were not sweet so if you want it to be sweet add the syrup. The pretzel was an appetizer it was soft and tasty as well. The atmosphere was lovely. There was a love dj and several tvs to watch sports

I am so glad we tried Cask. The food was delicious. The scallops-perfect. I cleaned my plate. My husband had the turkey and it was really really good. I also loved the cornbread and brussel sprouts (delicious).
The servers were very nice and attentive. It is SoHo so there is limited parking, but they do have on-site parking. I recommend reservations, especially on a busy SoHo evening. We ate inside, but the patio dinning looked comfortable.
Such a beautiful restaurant! The food and music however were just was ok. We had a nice waiter (Crystal). I’d definitely give it a second chance.

Brunch here on Sunday was so great. My friends were visiting and I wanted to take them to eat a Tampa brunch and I’m so happy I chose here. We were able to get a reservation for 2:45 and were seated right away. Our waiter was very patient and attentive. So kind! I loved the eggs Benedict. I tried my friend’s fried French toast and it was incredible. I can’t wait to go back and try their other menu items!
So it was not at all what I expected, honestly. I expected my overall experience to be ok, but the restaurant surpassed my expectations 10 fold. My friends and I ordered brunch. The food was exceptional and the tone/atmosphere of the environment was phenomenal. We ordered a couple of things (pictures included); we did not have a single negative thing to say about any of it. The bottomless mimosas were a great idea! Overall I recommend this place to any and everyone. I wish we had one of these where I live because it is truly an oasis in the desert! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Edit: I have also included a menu for your viewing pleasure. Use the QR code to pull it up! 😁✌🏾
