Starters are oke, steaks are soft but the gravy/oily sauce served with the steaks is terrible and ruins the steak. Food was not served at the same time while place was half empty. Many times the made mistakes with the tables. Bill was served while still eating deserts. Terrible experience for a hefty price. First and definitely last time eating at Loetje. So many places with better service and much better food for this price level. Skip !!

Nice place to have bites and drinks. Service was super fast and the food was tasty. I was a bit prejudiced as this place is a chain, but the food was absolutely delicious. We had crispy chicken, shrimp croquettes, burrata abd sweet potato fries. Their signature cocktail was also good.

Just had a supetb dinner at Loetje.
Warm greeting on arrival and drinks order taken swiftly.
We both ordered the steaks ( in 2 sizes ) they're cooked medium rare as standard and sides are ordered separately. The steaks were cooked to perfection and came sat in the meat jus... absolutely delicious 😋 and sides of fries and vegetables lovely. The steaks came accompanied with sliced white bread which was new to us but you know, why not and tbh it's a cracking idea to mop up the dish.
Cheesecake to share for desert completed our dinner.
Our waitress was attentive and looked after us very well.
Lovely atmosphere and modern design added to the overall experience.
10/10 and no hesitation in recommending.

We had dinner here before a concert close by. The service was excellent - both the waitress and the timing of the food & drinks. The beef steaks and tuna were perfectly cooked 👌

This is my second time here. Location is very nice, the food and service were great. I had the Bali steak, it was a little bit on the salty side, but I still love the taste and the meat itself. Came here on my birthday and they gave me a big candle.

*Update 26/7/23. Yesterday's dinner, after several visits in the past couple of years, confirmed the EXCELLENT quality and service and value for money. The steaks were some of the very best we've had in Rotterdam* Lunch on June 8, 2021. The beefsteak salad with peanut dressing was out of this world. The chunks of steak were tender and scrumptious. Excellent service, reasonably priced, beautiful location. Highly recommended!

Excellent spareribs! The taste is amazing and the portion is very generous. Also liked their smoothie, very pretty and tasty.

When we came the place was not busy ...good...very difficult to get a car parking around the area though.

spareribs was tender...much too tender ..may be we need to chew a bit to taste the meat...
no need to chew.....taste is a bit sweet but not spicy...salad was just cut cucumbers...
think it was just a pickle ..could be little more generous ..small fried Potatoes was nice...sauce is no taste...ribs portion is okay..could have been more...

So lovely restaurant where you don't have to wait so long for the order. Reservation is not necessary. Parking is available using a parking lot nearby. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is really delicious. Wheelchair entrance accessible. Restaurant has inside and outside seating. Located at the old port of Rotterdam. Highly recommended.

Been here a couple of times. The steak was delicious. I usually take the Bali flavour.
The mood is great. Make sure to call ahead to reserve or go early to have seats.
The price is mid to high, a normal piece of steak was around 22euro.

The restaurant is nice and clean and the waiters were friendly and talkative.. They serve halal food. But the food is overrated the meat was ok and the chicken was good. People told me to go because of the spareribs but the spareribs weren’t as good as I’ve heard and read in the comments. I’ve had much better spareribs at other places..
