Excellent

I highly recommend it! I chose this place to celebrate my birthday, we made a reservation for 10 people, the table was all set when we arrived and the location was great, we were comfortable! The food was amazing, tasty, and fresh. Although the order took time, the wait was worth it. Thank you Haryana staff!

Good restaurant without real indian food. I guess chef from Pakistan and average indian style food. Being Indian and after traveling 3 weeks in Europe ive ordered DAL MAKHANI (black dal) and what I got is DAL FRY (yellow dal). I'm specifying here for those who don't know the difference. No papad available...
Genuine review by a real Indian...
I hope the restaurant will take this as positive and improve a little.

Quite centrally located the place stands out with its unique name, Haryana, for anyone familiar with India this is the name of a northern state.
What is unique though is that generally people use the familiar moniker "Punjab" or something a bit more north Indian rather than the less famous cousin, Haryana, so yes this caught my eye and from then on it was a lets definitely try.
We were quite early by dinner standards, so much that the server had to actually check his watch before confirming our seating. The restaurant has a nice quiet subtle ambience to it, nothing in the decor indicates noise or discord, even the lighting is soothing. So once you are seated you are at ease.
The food has a multitude of options and has been adapted (spice level) to the french palette, rightly so!
There are adequate vegetarian and non vegetarian options, including the famous veg thali, an assortment of vegetarian dishes served with rice at the restaurant (but in general it comes with bread and rice options). Its an excellent option to try multiple vegetarian sides, you should additionally order naan and its a wholesome meal.
I ordered the vegetarian biryani and was satisfied with it, for my Indian palette I had to request for salt and pepper but it wasnt the food, it was me!
Definitely worth it, the servers speak french and can guide you easily on what to order, I would love to revisit.

Very nice restaurant and friendly staff. Good food in French-Indian style - ie, little to no chilli, even in the vindaloo. That's common to every Indian restaurant I've visited in France.

Had a great time with friends-
Food was amazing. I ordered Nam with garlic and Tikka Masala and I was delighted.
I also tried one of the beers (Cobra), and it was very light.
I felt a bit of pressure to order, but I understand the thing.

We had the sheer delight of relishing our lunch at Haryana, an experience that truly stands out as one of the most exceptional encounters with Indian cuisine I have ever had. Opting for the chicken with lentils priced at 16.9€, I was treated to an exquisite "feast" for the senses. The intricate interplay of flavors stemming from the amalgamation of rice, sauce, succulent chicken, and lentils was nothing short of a culinary marvel. Notably, the chicken was impeccably prepared, and a noteworthy highlight is the option to indulge in unlimited portions of rice, a delightful addition to the meal.
Turning our attention to the service, it mirrored the excellence of the cuisine itself, which is to say, nothing short of incredible. The staff's courtesy and their adeptness in providing personalized suggestions tailored to individual preferences were striking.
Regrettably, owing to the establishment's popularity, the venue was slightly bustling, causing a minor delay in the meal's arrival. However, this is a mere minutiae in light of the overall experience, as we thoroughly enjoyed the moment, making the wait inconsequential.
In essence, if I were to offer a single piece of advice, it would unequivocally be to seize the opportunity and embark on a culinary journey at Haryana.

A must visit Indian restaurant if you looking for the real taste.. I liked everything that I ordered except the gaajar halwa only because the carrot tastes different to that made with the carrots in india. And great staff as well.

A great restaurant with Super Nice Host.. we were group of 4 and wanted to have some good Indian Food.. Visited the restaurant and were quite satisfied with Tasty Indian Food & Nice Ambience on top of that owner was very helpful...

Very warmth and homely feel in this restaurant.
The owner really helped us and customized the food as per our need. We were group of 4 and 2 were vegetarian and the owner patiently helped us to choose the menu and served the food with love.
I would definitely comeback👍🏼

Great food and friendly service. I reccomend the punjab lamb.

Delicious authentic Indian food. Best I've had in france in 10 years

Great restaurant in Metz. I would recommend the butter chicken and cheese naan (the garlic naan was a bit too strong for me).

Really good place to eat delicious and spicy indian food. Nice and friendly staff 👍.

Loved this authentic Indian themed restaurant. Ambiance is quaint and cute. Service was friendly and the food was fantastic. I can’t wait to go back again! Highly recommend
