Best falafel, tahini & salads I've had in Munich. Please note that it is a cash only operation!!!

I highly recommend the restorant since the service was fast and foods are very very delicious. Waiters are very polite. The tables and toilets are very clean. This place can be the best Lebanese restaurant in central Munich.

Sehr empfehlenswert.

Sababa has a great selection of dishes, each of them are super tasty and big portions. I can fully recommend the “Mixteller” with the chicken.

Food was simply outstanding! The flavor was fenomenal and the presentation of the dishes is just exactly the way it is in the middle east. Service unfortunately was honestly terrible. We had to wait close to an jour to get the attention of the waiter and even to pay the bill we had to do some efforts even when we were sitting inside of the restaurant. It is unfortunate that this plays a negative role on a restaurant with such a nice food offering.

The food is good, the atmosphere not that much. No music Friday evening when we were there. Our food was good, but the dish from our friends not that much. We order the grilled lamb but 4 pieces for 25.50 euros is a bit too much.

Honestly, it's one of the BEST Middle Eastern restaurants EVER!
The food is AMAZING, and the service is so wholesome.
If you're Middle Eastern and you come here, you'll feel like you're at home.
Top tier.

Nice service and good Lebanese food. The humus and lamb were all good, the acidity for humus and crispness of grilled lamb were perfect. This time I didn’t tried a Lebanese beer but next time I should try one to make it even more authentic.

Good Lebanese food. Wouldn't say the best I have had, but good experience. We ordered Tabbouleh for appetizers and it was decent, nothing great. The main course was good but the serving quantity for the price is a bit on the lower end.

The portions are very small compared to last year. The service is just ok, it was sunny, we asked if we could sit outside he said no because it may rain any second.. of course it didn’t rain the whole time we were there? Food was also better last year..

Very serene, with a mix of nature and lifestyle. The service was professional and they have a very robust menu of food and drinks. The live band performance was on point.

Fresh, vibrant and tasty Lebanese food! The baba ganoush was especially delicious as it hit the right smokey note that contrasted perfectly with the tart pop of the pomegranate. The falafel were also great: freshly made on the spot, crunchy and hot.

Whilst the service was quick and efficient, they were neither very friendly nor helpful. Rather, we felt a bit rushed to order and seat. A pity, as the food was good.

Very delicious and a nice change from German food. You get a great amount of food for the price. Very quick service too as it’s made right in front of you.

Lebanese nostalgia hits strongly there; the oven's smell, the ambiance and decoration, and most importantly the taste. Yummy "Man2oushe", big enough to share, It's a good standard for a place outside of Lebanon. "Bonjus l haram" is a great addition, made a difference!!

Best Lebanese in Munich! Authentic fresh food. We got two sharing platters between 7 of us and portions were generous. Beetroot, hummus, tabbouleh falafel all excellent. Only not great thing, we went in winter and the decor is quite cold and not very welcoming, better for summer or takeaway. Cash only and order at the counter. Limited drinks menu.

Possibly the best falafel in Munich. When I’m here I always leave with a full belly and a smile on my dial. Sometimes it can be confusing to know where to order and pay but once you get the hang of it it’s pretty smooth sailing.

tl;dr: simple place, simple food with spices and flavor. Tiny water bottles 😂

The place: red carpet, photos of Lebanon and paintings on the wall make up the decor of this cozy, small place of maybe 15-20 tables. You are greeted by a lovely spicy smell coming from the kitchen as you take a seat. Stone patterns on the wall give it a bit of a rustic feeling.

The food: mixed feelings. We got the Masa Classic appetizer mix with some pita and spreads like hummus, a tomato paste and others. Also includes falafel (quite crunchy and very good) and tabbouleh (salad made of parsley and tomato). The spreads were good, while tabbouleh is personally not for me because of the parsley. For main dishes I got the Firri (grilled quails) while fiancée got the Mischwi Mschakkal (mixed of grilled lamb and chicken with rice and salad). Hers was juicy and tasty. The quails had too many small bones and it was a bit difficult to eat (easier with your hands, also a nicer feeling). One of the bones tried to set up camp in my throat but was evicted by a sip of water from the tiniest bottle I’ve ever seen 🤣. As dessert, they offer baklava (delicate and not so sweet, very good) and Qishta, which they call Lebanese panna cota to make it easier for people but it’s actually a doughy coagulated milk thing which they scent with flower water. The taste is hard to describe other than doughy. The texture might be a bit strange for some. Honey goes well with it.

The service: no complaints about it, we got everything in a timely fashion and the server was nice.

Fiancée says: “tasty and simple” 👹 imma stop asking her

Teu treated us super well. They didn’t have the wine we want and they gave us a better one + in the end they gave us Desert for free because we couldn’t stay longer. I def recommend it. Top service and food.

Super fresh and delicious! It’s a full experience when you can make each wrap yourself with different fillings and proportions. The platters can be ordered according to the number of people, fair portions for the price. The meal was complete with a lemonade on the side ☀️
Wouldn’t go for falafel anywhere else.

The service was nice and the people were friendly, however it was not very authentic Lebanese. I would maybe only recommend the zaatar and the cheese only. Overall, the food made me nauseous..

Authentic Lebanese/Middle Eastern food and appetisers. The place is very cozy and has a very warm vibe. The soft Arabic music sets the mood up for a great meal and experience, just like cozy restaurants back home. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. I recommend trying “Arak” which is a traditional Middle Eastern alcoholic beverage that tastes amazing with this type of food, it’s not on the menu so make sure to pronounce it correctly 😉

My only negative is that the place is a little bit overpriced with the current portion size, in general it was a wonderful experience. Definitely recommended.

Super delicious and authentic Lebanese dishes, served in a cute an warm side room. I recommend the Manoush with Zataar. To start with we shared eight appetizers, which all tasted unique and were very well seasoned. (warning: the food is addicting)

I wanna highlight the hospitality and friendliness of the waiters/ chefs.
One of the best Arabic restaurants in Munich, the food is very tasty and tastes the same as Lebanon & Syria.
The place, music and staff are wonderful and nice.
I advise anyone who misses Lebanon or Syria to go there or who wants to live the experience.

Without a doubt my favourite restaurant in Munich. The food is 21/20, always consistent & full of flavour! The falafels are probably the best I have ever eaten 🧆💖

This is actual Lebanese food that is eaten in Lebanon! Tastes just like in Lebanon; I tried the Zaatar Manouche with vegetables. I only wish for bigger portions. I am definitely going back more frequently.

Having lived in an Arab country most of my life, I was really looking forward a good zaater with cheese and they served exactly that. Great manouche, good ingredients and downright delicious. I found the vegetable toppings unusual because that's not how zaater is uusally served, however since its just a topping the staff agreed to not add any toppings on request. Lahm b ajjin was on point as well. The place itself is also quite nice, light industrial decor with a little feel of the Lebanese culture. The prices are quite steep I feel so there is definitely room for improvement. All in all a great place for a quick eat.

The best Lebanese and Arabic restaurants in Munich. The food is very tasty. The staff is friendly and fast in service. I recommend it to my friends and everyone who reads this comment. Special thanks to Chef Hassanein and Mrs. Sania, the owners of the restaurant for their management and their keenness to make Baalbek Restaurant the best restaurant in Munich

Had my 30th here and it was epic! Big table of 20 and the staff were so accommodating. One of them even sang happy birthday at the end with my cake (what a voice). Food as always- spot on! Without a doubt the best hummus in town (I’ve really tried them all 🙈) thanks for everything ❤️

The service is fast and it's really one of the best places to have falafel in Munich.
A must visit if you like lebanese food.

Excellent food. Probably the best Lebanese I’ve tried in Munich. Here I have only tried the 1 person plate to-go. All flavorful.

Cons: only cash, food portions for the price, and service was just ok.

Delicious. We tried the house menu for two with the different Mezze and every one was delicious. The dessert filled with a type of cheese was very soft and had a delicate rose water aroma. Nice decoration and friendly service.

Reservation of a table was easy and fast via web. The personnel was nice, attentive, and fast.
The food was absolutely delicious. The prices were a bit expensive in comparison with other restaurants but the taste, the location, and the service justifies it.
I’ll definitely go back again.

Great Lebanese food, served in a small yet very cozy restaurant. The team working here is so nice, and kindly took time to explain the restaurants concept and menu. So many flavourful veggie options with a great presentation, it’s worth a visit!
Finally found a classy authentic lebanese restaurant in Munich. Tried a few appetizers ( Baba ghanoush, Taboula, Kiba, Batata Hara) was beyond amazing and for desert Katifi is strongly recommended

We had 4 courses menu and everything was really really good. Especially the mezze & the grill plate. We also had dessert, something with mascarpone filling and it was interestingly tasty.
If you will also have a 4 courses menu, make sure you have enough time and good company :) It was my first time to a Lebanese Restaurant and they gave me good impression. Gerne wieder!

We enjoyed it a lot! Very unconventional, a short trip to Beirut.
Friendly staff, all in all not fancy in a positive way, a “real” spot!

And the food is good too 😋😀

We visited this place with a group of over twenty on a weekday with a reservation. Initially they were a little bit confused and it took a while to get everyone's drinks, but once that was sorted the service was fast, very friendly and extremely customer oriented. The food was great, seemed to be quite consistently high quality and the portion sizes of the mains were fair. With starters noone left hungry. The ambience is nice too.

We had the brunch @ €12,50 per person. The pulpy orange juice was freshly pressed and tasted great since the oranges were sweet. The string cheese tasted great and the creamy white curry was delicious. We were served later with Arabic thick crust bread topped with cheese and minced meat. The one with minced meat had a bit sour taste which didn’t work well for me. Staff was good and friendly. All in all, I’d give it 3,5 stars.
