Visited Church Lane for my first procedure today for a filling, scale and polish with Dr Raj. The service from start to finish was absolutely top notch, all work completed efficiently and more importantly pain free. I will not be moving from this dentist 5 stars all round. Dr Raj is the man !!

The dentist here is brilliant, he was confident, quick and very skilled. I liked how friendly he was and how reassuring he was and honestly I was amazed at how much work he wanted to do on my teeth compared with NHS dentists who have always said my teeth were fine. They really go above and beyond to help you achieve a perfect smile. I’ll never go back to NHS again, it’s well worth paying for as you get so much more time with the dentist who is willing and able to do a lot more for you

I came to this dentist purely on friends reviews. I could not ask for a better dentist, I suffer from severe anxiety and panic attacks and ican call and say i having a bad day and the staff are so lovely and understanding about mental health. I needed a lot more work doing than what I thought but never had and problems at all. I would nor leave this surgery at all.

Had my 6 monthly check-up. Dentist was very informative. He explained all the terms he had used about teeth and gums and gave my teeth a clean and polish. He also gave me the opportunity to ask questions. Am very happy with all his treatment.

A lovely Professional Dentist, they make you feel relaxed, comfortable and are informative throughout the process of your treatment. This Dentist is highly recommended for all of the above and its Superb 24 hr 365 days a year of crucial Service.

I’ve been to several private dentists for emergency appointments and this one is by far the best. Extremely reasonable on the prices when I’ve been quoted £750 for a wisdom tooth removal and was quite £300 from this practice, still steep but the price difference is significant.

The dentist I saw was great lots of good, helpful advice and I didn’t feel pressured in anyway.

Tremendous skills on display here at Church Lane Stafford. Dental surgery carried out in a calm environment with explanations step by step. I cannot recommend highly enough. How lucky are we?

They do not answer their phones at all. When visiting the practice they usually have 3 receptionists not answering the phones.
Mind you they are probably busy cancelling same day appointments by text with no re-booking.

When it was Simpson & Goodwin they had one or maybe two receptionists at most, and they always answered so I'm not sure what the excuse is.

Been trying to get an appt since lockdown with no luck as can't get through on the phones or when I actually can make an appointment it's 3+ months away and then they cancel it and then you can't make a new one.

Not sure they actually have a dentist here anymore as you can never get to see them. I'm sure if one does exist, they are quite good, but I'll never know.

They have responded to reviews 6+months ago with similar issues but they have not fixed anything yet.

One star is one too many. Avoid if at all possible.

A complete nightmare to get hold of, I had my appointment cancelled by text. I have tried on several occasions to rebook by phone as requested but you get left on a never ending loop message and no one ever answers!

Had appointment cancelled by text and was asked to call the practice to rebook. Have been trying all day to get through, only to have engaged tone or ringing out. Surely if the practice cancels, they should be phoning patients to apologise and rebook?

Absolutely amazing I'm terrified of going the dentist but thay put me at ease and never had a tooth out with cocaine best thing I did hopefully this will cure my headaches thank you so much and I didn't have to wait I had an appointment and waited 5 minutes very polite and talked me through everything he was doing once again thank you Tina hall

Wonderful dentist. Kind understanding. I even visit the hygienist regularly as she that good. Can't recommend enough.

'We apologise for the delay, please continue to hold and one of our receptionists will answer your call shortly' - Please remove this message from being replayed over and over again every 5 seconds when trying to call it's so grating especially when every call seems to take 10 mins to get through.
My last two appointments have also been cancelled via text due to circumstances beyond their control.
For anyone wondering why this dentist did have good reviews, it's from when it was Simpson and Goodwins and was a tight run ship.

Very positive experience. All the staff were very welcoming and a thorough consultation with 'Guv' who exuded confidence and warmth throughout the session. Having been a patient for 35 years at the Dental Practice, I have no hesitation in highly recommending them. The staff have been overwhelmingly helpful during some recent difficult changes within Oriel Dental Practice - now being re-branded as Riverside Dental Practice -resulting in totally satisfactory outcomes.

I started attending church lane dental practice but when I needed an emergency appointment sooner than they could get me one, they offered me one at oriel which I snapped up due to the sheer amount of pain I was in. I didn't catch the name of the dentist I saw but he was brilliant (27/7 @3pm if you can credit him!). I absolutely hate going to the dentist and after covid forced a big gap in my visits I got into the routine of avoiding them, so I was very nervous!
The dentist I saw was empathetic with my situation and sought to resolve it asap, and after an x-ray we were both quite shocked to see something that is apparently quite rare, my wisdom tooth was not only impacted under the next tooth but it had eaten the root of it and caused an abscess as well. The only option was to extract the tooth on top, which I was very glad to hear! 😂 The extraction itself was quick and painless, and the dentist took the time to show me the tooth and explain what had happened to it. I also got to take my tooth home as a souvenir 🤣

Thank you so much to oriel dentists for fitting me in asap and letting me walk out with the problem solved (my previous practice would have me do a consultation and then book another appointment to have it sorted!), and also for doing it so quickly and easily. I will definitely be sticking with oriel/church lane from now on.

I have been visiting Oriel for many years now . The service is excellent. I always feel welcome and comfortable. My dentist always has time to talk through any issues and I trust his judgement completely . I like that they have hygienists who give an equally good service. I would highly recommend Oriel .

Dr Anish and dental nurse Lauren were very polite,helpful and kept calm when my son went to have a baby tooth removed and is absolutely petrified of needles. With lots of support and encouragement Dr Anish and Lauren were able to give my son the injection and get the tooth out. I was given after care sheets on what to do once home . So I'm happy to say I was very impressed with the surgery which is not out usually dentist.

Same experience as other patients. Been waiting nearly 2 years now and have booked several appointments only to receive a text two days before the appointment to tell me due to circumstances beyond their control my appointment has been cancelled. Ring the surgery only to be put on hold for ages. Not good enough, if you are only prioritising emergency patients then all the routine checkups will become emergencies.

The worst dentist to try and get hold of! Rang for 20 mins a time on and off for 4 days!!! Had no answer, sometimes they would disconnect my call or just leave me on hold. Very poor practice. Female front staff are quite happy to moan about customers to each other in front of other customers.

I had a little difficulty finding the surgery as I am not a local, however the staff were welcoming and efficient. They dealt with me as an emergency appointment and the dentist was superb, explaining short term treatment and longer term solutions. I would recommend them.

Had my first visit today, really pleased with my choice,all the staff there made me feel at ease and are very good at their job. I had total trust with the dentist Dan even on my first visit. Well done all.

My daughter has had her brace fitted for over 2 years and we’ve had appointments every 5 weeks. The dentist couldn’t have been more professional, helpful and caring. A very efficient practice with updates on appointments on a regular basis. Treatment is explained at all stages including cots. Highly recommended.

I thought this dentist was great Ivenever had any problems, always thought all the dentists and staff were fantastic.. however a couple of weeks ago they cancelled my appointment on the same day with only notice of a text and as a full time worker I did not see this until I reached the practice. Tried to call to re-book the appointment its taken me several days and hours of time on the phone trying to get through. All you get is a message saying a receptionist will be with you soon, and then the phone cuts off like someone is picking up the phone and putting it down straight away. After finally getting through i re-booked my appointment for today 11/04/2023 only to have ANOTHER text two hours before the appointment cancelling it, even after I specifically asked them to call me if the appointment was to be cancelled again. I have now been trying to get through to the practice for a further two hours with no luck.
As I work in a dental practice I understand the demand for dental appointments, I'm sad to say the customer service here recently has been shocking.

I have been using this dental practice for about five years now, I had been at my previous practice for about 35 years when my dentist decided to retire, I was therefore a little concerned about finding a replacement I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised my experience has been nothing short of exceptional from booking an appointment reception right through to completion of treatment. I am very satisfied with the service provided by Castle field dental practice.All the staff are professional but at the same time treat people as individuals. They show empathy when necessary and provide person centred care.
They are approachable and provide urgent assistance when necessary.

Just had a crown fitted on a molar tooth at the Stafford Dental Practice in a single visit! As a nervous patient, Jason Greenwood and his staff were fantastic! Going to the dentist is never going to be an enjoyable experience. But with the right team of people it can be made a lot less traumatic. The team at Stafford Dental Practice are just such a team. Very highly recommended!

Another super efficient appointment for me and my son. The team managed to juggle our appointments so that a treatment could be done at the same time without any disruption to other patients and meant we didn't need to return until our next check up. Great flexibility and consideration. Thank you.

I cannot praise this dental practice enough. Channah is an amazing friendly and professional dentist.He puts you so much at ease when in the chair, and explains exactly
what he is doing.

Anyway, I have been coming here for many years and so have my family. We have always received a 5* service from Jason and the team and highly recommend to anyone seeking a dentist. Actually, we moved from the area and still travel to Stafford to see Jason.

A person is using aliases (specifically 'susan brerton and 'Robert Hooper') to leave ludicrous and libellous false reviews for this excellent practice. Having read the persons complaints in full, it is in fact crystal clear that the complainant does in fact need an urgent referral. To the CPN (Community Psychiatric Nurse) team. I in fact hope they find the help they need.

First time ever for cosmetic dentistry as I only ever go when I have to. Always been a very nervous patient but I can say this went well once I got there🤣. The results were amazing, Thank you to Nikki and the team.

Sorry to say we left surgery as felt like second class citizens because we were NHS patients and felt that the NHS costings were a bit misunderstood .

Have been with this surgery for over 30 years, when they were on the main road opposite the Odeon, it was then Simpson and Goodwin. Excellent practice, honest dentists. Very accommodating and helpful in an emergency.Highly recommended.

Having being fearful of dentists since a bad experience, I was encouraged by a friend to visit this practice, and I'm so glad I did.

Jason was so understanding about my fear, and explained the whole process that he would go through to repair my teeth.

I perform in front of people, so to have teeth in the condition that mine were was terrible, but they have now been fully restored, and I haven't felt a single bit of pain the whole way through.

I had 6 appointments with Debbie the hygienist who gave each section a deep clean every time, a broken front tooth repaired, a root extraction and just one filling repaired and I'm not kidding when I say I didn't feel one bit of pain.

On the first appointment, my hands were sweating and I nearly just walked out through fear, and I'm now at the point where I can't wait to back and have my teeth straightened to complete my smile.

I cannot thank everyone in this practice enough for their patience and understanding with me, and for the true professionalism shown throughout.

I would not recommend or go anywhere else.

Today I've had a .Cerac crown done and its amazing, Over the years I've spent hours as a very nervous patient but Jason and Bev helped me to almost completely relax!! Which is a tough job in its self,

The crown was done in one visit with no vile impressions having to be done, It took about an hour and a half in total---and it feels brilliant,

The wand is the best anaesthetic that I've had when having dental procedures done it made the root filing last week very bearable and wore off really quickly.

Altogether a fantastic experience at this dental practice

Anyway, I reviewed a couple of years ago and thought I'd do so again.

The team at Stafford Dental practise are great.

Just to echo my previous review as it still stands: Jason is, in my mind, the guy with love for the technical and all the jargon that goes with it (geek chic) and knows how to use it, Bev is a credit to the team and if anyone is there to give you peace of mind and answer any questions, well, she's the one! Receptionist is always smiley and helpful. Hygienist is also great at her job.

My teeth are a joy to use thanks mostly to the team at Stafford Dental Practise.
