They do not answer their phones at all. When visiting the practice they usually have 3 receptionists not answering the phones.
Mind you they are probably busy cancelling same day appointments by text with no re-booking.

When it was Simpson & Goodwin they had one or maybe two receptionists at most, and they always answered so I'm not sure what the excuse is.

Been trying to get an appt since lockdown with no luck as can't get through on the phones or when I actually can make an appointment it's 3+ months away and then they cancel it and then you can't make a new one.

Not sure they actually have a dentist here anymore as you can never get to see them. I'm sure if one does exist, they are quite good, but I'll never know.

They have responded to reviews 6+months ago with similar issues but they have not fixed anything yet.

One star is one too many. Avoid if at all possible.

A complete nightmare to get hold of, I had my appointment cancelled by text. I have tried on several occasions to rebook by phone as requested but you get left on a never ending loop message and no one ever answers!

Had appointment cancelled by text and was asked to call the practice to rebook. Have been trying all day to get through, only to have engaged tone or ringing out. Surely if the practice cancels, they should be phoning patients to apologise and rebook?

'We apologise for the delay, please continue to hold and one of our receptionists will answer your call shortly' - Please remove this message from being replayed over and over again every 5 seconds when trying to call it's so grating especially when every call seems to take 10 mins to get through.
My last two appointments have also been cancelled via text due to circumstances beyond their control.
For anyone wondering why this dentist did have good reviews, it's from when it was Simpson and Goodwins and was a tight run ship.

Same experience as other patients. Been waiting nearly 2 years now and have booked several appointments only to receive a text two days before the appointment to tell me due to circumstances beyond their control my appointment has been cancelled. Ring the surgery only to be put on hold for ages. Not good enough, if you are only prioritising emergency patients then all the routine checkups will become emergencies.

The worst dentist to try and get hold of! Rang for 20 mins a time on and off for 4 days!!! Had no answer, sometimes they would disconnect my call or just leave me on hold. Very poor practice. Female front staff are quite happy to moan about customers to each other in front of other customers.

I thought this dentist was great Ivenever had any problems, always thought all the dentists and staff were fantastic.. however a couple of weeks ago they cancelled my appointment on the same day with only notice of a text and as a full time worker I did not see this until I reached the practice. Tried to call to re-book the appointment its taken me several days and hours of time on the phone trying to get through. All you get is a message saying a receptionist will be with you soon, and then the phone cuts off like someone is picking up the phone and putting it down straight away. After finally getting through i re-booked my appointment for today 11/04/2023 only to have ANOTHER text two hours before the appointment cancelling it, even after I specifically asked them to call me if the appointment was to be cancelled again. I have now been trying to get through to the practice for a further two hours with no luck.
As I work in a dental practice I understand the demand for dental appointments, I'm sad to say the customer service here recently has been shocking.
