Worst experience ever. Did the proper sign in for my wife. The place was packed with nowhere to sit. So we decided to wait in the car until they sent a text. One hour later we got the text. We went back in to wait for her name to be called...Twenty minutes later I asked one of the techs when my wife would be called, (had noone sitting at the reception desk). I asked politely when my wife would be called since we have now waited 20 more minutes since they called us back. Two of the techs now got loud and made claims that they called my wife's name , even going so far as to poll the other patients that were waiting!!
Walked out the door at that point. Terrible service, totally unprofessional.

I’m speaking for myself, but my appointment was at 9:15am and I was in and out. The front desk lady was very sweet. Check in went smoothly and I was in the back by 9:05am getting my blood drawn. Mind you there was no one waiting in the lobby.

Unfortunately my experience was horrible too. I brought my 16 year old for blood work and we were treated with disrespect. First Lady blonde braids was extremely rude. I attempted to give her the paperwork my son doctor gave us and she never wanted it and proceeded to be on her cellphone. Second Lady shouted saying “Mam! I need that!”. Like seriously? My son even said they did a poor job drawing blood and patching it. I do not recommend coming here.

I came in for an employment drug test, and needless to say, I had a horrible experience with the staff and numerous biohazards in the facility. An employee instructed me on how to complete the test and was incredibly rude and belittling throughout my visit. To make it even worse, the bathroom was disgusting and there were containers of urine in an open bin of trash in the testing room. This location has a complete disregard of customer service, employee kindness, and general sanitation of a professional work environment. I won't be returning.

My experiences here have always been great. The drug screen hours have been updated. 10am-11:30am and 2pm-3:30. It's best to be here a few minutes early and have your info ready. The staff have always been respectful to me.

If you want someone who hates their job and takes that anger out on the patients, this is the place for you! Understaffed, the two workers I saw here are probably the most miserable people I have ever met in my life.

I stayed in my car, as my appointment slip told me to log in on my phone and wait for one of the workers to alert me to come in. This alert never came, so I decided to go in a few minutes after, in case they were behind, just trying to follow the rules and be helpful. Due to this error on their behalf, I was blamed and loudly "shamed" for wasting their time (keep in mind the issue was their fault). So apparently it was my fault they never alerted me to come in, okay. As I waited in the lobby, the two individuals made sure I was able to hear them talk badly about me. I decided to bite my tongue and stay, as I really needed this blood work done ASAP. Eventually I was called back to get my blood taken, with which they were not very gentle.

Extremely unprofessional behavior and close to being downright disgusting. I don't deserve to be talked to like this, especially for something they caused. I am sorry for the other patients that have come here with similar experiences. If you hate your job this much, I think it might be time to consider an alternative career path, because you are really not very good at it.

Came in yesterday 2/19 to get some blood work done and they said their machine was down. Said I could wait or come back. I decided to wait for a little bit, then decided to leave after listening to the lady at the front desk do nothing but complain about her day and said she should just clock out and go home. Said she can't handle the system being down. I guess it was too difficult to check in patients manually. So, I made an appointment for today 2/20 at Noon.

So, I check in with their little kiosk and I go to the window to give updated insurance information. Luckiky for me, it's the same lady and she is almost as pleasant as she was the day before. Only this time she was complaining about a child crying in the back. I ask if I can give her my updated insurance information and she said I entered it in the kiosk (which I did not). She said that's the only way to check in. Again, obviously it is not because it never asked me for insurance information. I explained this to her and she finally entered the information herself with the exact opposite of what a friendly, smiling, employee should do.

If you don't like dealing with patients, including crying children, maybe you should find another career that better suits your skills/attitude. Because this isn't one of them. Will happily avoid this place forever.
I really needed to get some information before coming in but nobody answers the phone there. Just an endless loop of being transferred to a full voice-mail and then back to an "attendant" who doesn't answer.

I have a 915 appointment. It's 930. The two women who work here are sitting in the office chatting and not calling anyone back. They are not working and when I asked when I might be seen they told me to sit down and they would call me. When? When they are done talking about their personal items? Further one woman came out and called two people she had already seen. Very disorganized. Very slow. Very poorly run and managed. Update: my appointment was overlooked, even though I asked directly for help. 950. I had a 915 appointment. Totally incompetent.
I gave birth here, first baby, my experience;
My nurses Rendy & Kenzie were absolutely AMAZING. The overall experience was better because of them, they were really supportive over my decisions and my constant worries and questions. They also got me popsicles, broth, jello etc because you can’t eat and you’re so incredibly hungry. Dr. A is who delivered my baby and he was training with Dr. Cross, both very caring, assuring and amazing doctors. I tore so they stitched me up well, I’m still healing now.
The only problems were they had to manually break my water, so because of that I had to get pitocin since my contractions weren’t consistent enough but they gave me like 14 hours before they did that since I really did not want pitocin.
Eventually they told me due to bacteria after the water breaking, I would either have to have the baby in 24 hours or have a c section so again I had to get the pitocin to speed things up which caused the worst contraction pains of my life.
I did end up having to get an epidural at the end because of the pitocin contractions and the guy didn’t do the best job because I apparently had a bit of scoliosis without ever knowing so my back was bruised and I was having pitocin contractions during his poking/having to stay still and he missed it the first time so I had to do it again, while having pitocin contractions, just to have it only numb one side so I had to finish my labor and delivery with half my body numbed. It did help me know when to push at least, I pushed my baby out in almost 2 hours and was in labor for 25 hours total. Horrible labor but that wasn’t their fault at all and I’m so thankful for a healthy baby and body.
Thank you all for your hard work, I pray you get blessed abundantly for what you do!
Rae drew my blood and she was absolutely so amazing! So friendly and calming. I highly recommend this lab and Rae! I freak when I get lab work done but she reassured me of everything and I felt nothing!!
My daughter's doctor entered the incorrect date for her lab work. The woman at the door, was amazing. She worked to get everything straightened out, while still checking patients in. She got us back quickly, and the woman who did the blood draw was also so kind and great with my daughter, who has a very big phobia of needles. Overall, I could not have asked for more professional, kind people, who go above and beyond their job descriptions. I didn't catch any names, but I wish I had to give them the credit they deserve.
Went on my Atrium to check my blood work labs and I find test results for Dr. January, 2023 appointment. Called my Doctor's office and questioned where were my orders and was told my orders were in.
I drove to the lab because THEY HAVE NO PHONE THAT WILL ANSWER CALLS. Nice receptionist in office told me there was no orders and offered to make me apt for the next day. I told her the paper I filled out had my Doctor's name and the girl that drew my blood should have noticed she was not doing the orders for the WRONG DOCTOR. YOU need to know what your Doctor has requested and make sure the lab is correct. I have used this lab for years and never had a problem until today. Overworked and understaffed.

Changed rating...went back the next day and labs were drawn correctly; Jennifer was very attentive and I did not have to wait long. Never felt her draw blood.
I had a great experience having my baby here. Nurse Natalie and Tasha were amazing and helped me feel at ease when I had to have my baby with no epidural. They were so caring and supportive I felt I had two angels at each side of the bed. I did not know who would deliver my baby that day thankfully Dr. Radhika had so much bedside manner and was so kind.

Post Partum our nurse Yessi was great and so attentive! She helped us when our baby would not stop crying for hours that night due to gas and even watched him for an hour or two at the nursery so we could get a bit of rest. I knew our little one was in good hands.

Downside I was discharged 24 hrs later I was not offered a wheelchair by the nurse that was attending us the following day which was very weird to me and that very long walk felt like a lot for my body.
Nurse Brooke was so great never left me unintended. Cared for me and was there for me every step of the way. She was better than my doctor!
Called to see if my dad had a scheduled appt there and the receptionist was very rude! She said I needed to call my dr and ask them. I said just tell me if you have him listed and I gave his name and birthdate and then she said what dr and because I pronounced his name wrong she said no and I said he’s a lung specialist and then she said yes but you didn’t say his name right and hung up on me! How rude and unprofessional and she needs to be taught manners especially when working with the public!
Terrible. MyAtriumHealth says you can make appt. for lab. Not true. Had appt. and was told they don't take them. Couldn't find my orders on computer. Two other doctor offices I called said my orders were there! Rude lab techs. Never got my blood drawn!
I made an 8:00 AM appt and wasn’t called back until 8:30, which wasn’t the best. Besides that I had a great experience. Bridgette is an angel. She helped me get things sorted out when my doctor didn’t have my lab orders in the system. She was friendly and kind. I normally get very anxious and feel faint from having blood drawn but she did an amazing job... I didn’t feel a thing! The 5 stars are all for her!
Nurses here are amazing. Especially Julie, she is very compassionate, caring. She took Amazing care of patient (my wife & baby ) and guest(me) as well. Mostly, guests are ignored, but I am pleasantly surprised here. My wife went through c-section and was experiencing bad pain, Julie didn’t stop at just giving some pain medicine, but she also ordered heat packs and made sure my wife is at ease. It was a wonderful experience here.
The staff at Mariam Cannon Hayes Family Center was amazing. My wife and I are so pleased that we had our baby girl at this facility. They went above and beyond and exceeded our expectation. Nothing short of amazing ! Thank you!!!
Whenever my doctor completes my yearly check-up, by habit I just go 'downstairs' to the CMC Medical Arts Building lab for blood work. Most technicians have difficulty finding my veins; that's been the case for several years. Today, after a referral, I tried someone new who was fantastic at CMC Gateway! Her name is Kathy Tucker and she's hands down the best phlebotomist I've ever had. She and her staff (including her supervisors) were friendly and the waiting area was clean. Mrs. Tucker was professional and efficient, found my vein extremely quickly, apparently was not at all intimidated when I had told her of my history of my hard-to-locate veins. She confidently obtained the needed blood sample. Painless!
This place takes the best care of you and your new little ones. The nursing staff are top-notch hands-down the nicest people and any hospital I've ever been to. And I've been to quite a few. The beds are comfortable the rooms are perfectly clean and sanitized. Even the food is pretty damn good .. Also boasts One of the top rated NICU units. There are at least two parking decks with more sporadic parking throughout. Newly remodeled inside and out, this place continues to grow and gets better and better with time. I would recommend this hospital and this place to give birth your children to anyone..
Very organized, professional, clean office. Very nice staff, clean building. Plenty of signs visible directing your path. Close parking, bathrooms upfront & pharmacy as well is the first office in building on ground floor. Benches outside & inside. Someone put little thought & consideration in this design.
EXTREMELY WONDERFUL experience! After being told that: you cannot eat anything (including popicles) without level 9+ pain, having a high level amount of scar tissue, extremely high blood pressure, and a possible bowl obstruction ... was 'NOT AN EMERGENCY' from NOVANT ER SALISBURY (shame on you!) and "just go home" (see my review on them for more details), I decided to try Carolina Health care system in Concord, NC. THEY ARE A GODSEND!!! The quality of people is about 1,000,000% better and they REALLY CARE. Each person was so kind, caring, thoughtful, understanding, & thorough. I got results of what the problem was and imagine... pain relief medicine too while I wait to the see the surgeon! (which NOVANT ER REFUSED to give me anything for the pain) ... If you want high-quality care and people who actually know what they are doing, CAROLINAS HEALTHCARE system is the BEST, hands down. You simply won't be disappointed!!!
