Sgt. Vo was the recruiter for my son to join the Air Force. SSG Vo is one of the best recruiters I've worked with so far he is the only one willing to go the extra miles to help a prior service member like myself to switch over to the Air Force he is always keeping me up to date and informing me what steps I gotta take and he always talking to his command team about helping me coming back in and NOT having to go back to MEPS. If you're pro service no matter what branch SSG Vo is the man to talk to he might be busy at times but always take the time to keep me updated with regulations and policy changes, he's not just a good recruiter but it also a good NCO he goes above and behind for his applicants and his recruits there's nobody else that I want to work with SSG Vo is the man to go to just gotta be patience's with him. SSG Vo he doesn't turn away prior service he is very helpful

Being in RSS Gotham has definitely changed my life. As a Poolee, my recruiter Sgt Shaw helped me out with workouts to prepare me for training. Not only that, but the other recruiters in the office helped me out as well. They gave me advice on how to prep for bootcamp and more knowledge on different career paths the Marine Corp has to offer. I would say definitely come to RSS Gotham.
Just completed RAP and the opportunity to assist Sgt Vo was truly a fruitful one. He is honestly looking to put every person that steps into his office in a position to succeed and he is as straightforward and forthcoming as can be. Let me just start with saying I’ve seen and been around many recruiters. And although I usually don’t write reviews I had to because this recruiting office is BY FAR the best one I’ve been too!! Super positive environment, very straight forward, and just over all fun. Sgt Vo is extremely patient with his recruits and passionate about his job. I look forward to coming back to work with him.
Everyone I interacted with here was helpful, friendly, and professional. Jun Mezilus was my recruiter and he answered every question and concerns I had. The whole process went smoothly thanks to him. Definitely the place to go if you’re interested in enlisting or if you’re just curious about the Army.
SFC Mezilus helped me enlist with the MOS I wanted quickly and efficiently, without any extra steps. The NCOIC, SFC Gonzalez is an amazing role model for service members and recruits: mentally, physically, and as a leader. Seriously, he’s absolutely yoked.

If you are in the area and are ready to take a life changing step forward this is the place to go! My experience with the US Army recruiters has been nothing but one of professionalism and transparency and genuine support. No matter the recruiter that I spoke to they all were consistent and diligent in their efforts setting me up to have a successful enlistment process into the army to get me the job/MOS that I wanted, granted of course i did everything properly on my end. One huge piece of advice I would give is to be patient and more importantly show up prepared mentally and have an open mind to advice given to you.

It’s a dream come through for me to be enlisted in the US Army. My process was so fast. I must give a big thank you to the Harlem Army recruiters for their guidance and hospitality that they offered throughout an extraordinary professional service. I was recruited from this station the first time around and yet still they are hands down the best recruiting station I’ve been too. They all have the knowledge to get you where you need to be, and as a prior service member, I learned far more than I can ever imagine. These guys are truly professionals. They have given me the motivation and aspiration to start my career over again in the right step towards the right direction. Sgt Davies was my recruiter. He was patient through my process and gave me tons of information on the way to my new unit. All of them are fast and efficient. If you have questions they will have the answers, if they don’t they will find it for you. When trying to enlist again. They all welcomed me with open arms as I was never forgotten.
Enlisted through this office for the u.s airforce. Wonderful staff who are very welcoming and will go above and beyond for you if you show them 100%. If you want to join the military this is definitely the place to go. Sergeant Santiago is an amazing person and will help and guide you throughout the whole process. It was a pleasure to work with him. I initially just entered to ask about the possibility of joining and 2 months later here I am ready to be shipped for BCT. The first time I went into the recruiting office in Times Square was like 7 months ago and since then I have been working with SFC Santiago and SFC ross-Hagar there a lot of setbacks in my enlistment process but no matter what I had going on or mistakes I made they never gave up and after 7 long months working with me I finally enlisted yesterday with my dream job and location I owe everything to them. They never gave up and we’re always 100 percent honest with me and helped me day in day out now I ship out the 23rd and get to go to Hawaii for my first duty station. Hello this is Hernandez I’m currently in the US Army as a 92y I just graduated AIT in Fort Lee, Virginia. I joined the Army because a year ago I joined the navy but because I couldn’t pass my swim qualification I wasn’t qualified and for that it made me join the Army and that is where I met Sergeant First Class Lorenzo who helped me go through the process and I wouldn’t have done it without his help so I highly encourage those who want to enlist and join the Army because it can really change your life for the better.

I initially came to the recruitment center to speak with the Air Force recruiter but no one was there, instead I met Sergeant Ross-Hagar. He clearly communicated the requirements to join the Army Reserves and was very helpful every step of the way. He was very honest and straightforward when explaining the process and job opportunities. I enjoy working with both Sergeant Ross-Hagar and Sergeant Santiago, they are both very friendly, honest, and easy to get along with.

Let me start off by saying that sergeant Santiago is one of the best recruiters I’ve spoken to. I originally went to talk to the Air Force recruiter in Times Square but I wasn’t lucky enough to find them there. He then asked me if I wanted to see my options in the army. So I gave it a shot and saw the amount of job opportunities I have with the US Army. Not only did he provided me with a bunch of job opportunities but he as well provided me with information of benefits I have joining the US Army. Throughout the whole time he was honest and clear with the future I have with the US Army. Most recruiters wouldn’t show the same level amount of importance as sergeant Santiago shows you towards completing your enlistment process. He is there alongside from the beginning of your enlistment process and furthermore.
Best office!! Everyone became my family. Workouts changed my life.

Harlem armory sets a great example of what it means to be well staffed. Everyone i interacted with there is outstanding. My experience with Sergeant Lopez was also wonderful one. Sgt Lopez did the utmost and diligent work to make sure i was provided with sufficient resource to pursue my endeavor and to put me on the path i wanted. Also it serves to first make sure you know what it is you want so that there will be no confusion or put unnecessary stress on yourself nor on the Army’s staff.
The Army National Guard Recruiting Office is an incredible space filled with amazing people. I felt really welcomed by SSG Lopez, who had inspired me to want to be like her and a part of something truly special. She worked within my best interests and I couldn’t be happier with myself and where I am headed.

I can write a whole book if this page would let me about my experience at this recruiting center, My recruiter (Estrella) and Chief Oliver addressed all my concerns, they had my back every step of the way. They encouraged me and this experience I would say made my decision to join the Navy a pleasant one.

I would recommend the Harlem recruiting station to anyone. From my initial call my recruiter, Chief Petty Officer Oliver, was approachable and informative. He, along with Chief Petty Officer Commodore, helped me step by step to eventually signing into the Navy. I leave for bootcamp on February 21, 2019 and I owe my thanks to them.

The food is spectacular and for a reasonable price of 50 dollars at least. This is the perfect venue for a food expo of this size and caliber. I couldn't be any happier coming here and hope that everyone experience this at least once.
