I’m from France, been in NY 14 years! Their croissant is very good!!! Trust me I have a hard time finding a good croissant in NY. It opens earlier than any other bakeries in Bushwick too!

Wonderful place on all dimensions. The cookies, scones and cakes are delicious, made on site daily. Beautiful watercolor whole cakes that I’ve bought for parties. Good coffee. The people who work here are warm and friendly and just good people all around. If the guava cream cheese scone is on offer try it!
I ordered 3 different cakes for my wedding last weekend and the overwhelming feedback was, “This is the best wedding cake I’ve ever had.” The brown butter caramel cake is absolutely divine. Our vegan and non-vegan guests were thrilled by the cookies and cream cake, so much that not a bite remained.

We wanted cake that wasn’t wedding cake and we got something even better than we hoped for. 1000/10 for future celebratory cakes!

I found this lovely little place online, searching for a birthday treat for my daughter. The beauty of internet being able to order most delicious treats from Ireland for her to enjoy in NYC. I’m told all the pastries are delicious, thank you !
Went for the chocolate chip cookie, and it did not disappoint! It wasn’t the best cookie in the city, but it was a delight, nevertheless. Would highly recommend picking one up if you’re in the area!

Ordered a baby shower custom cake for my daughter 2 weeks in advance texted an exact Image of how i wanted the cake to look they said they can do it i paid 2 weeks in advance in full. A few days before the event i texted and the lady said she would go in and see if the cake was going to be done so idk if they forgot and she went in to remind them or if they made it two weeks ago when i paid for it because it taste dry and like freezer not to mention the cake started melting immediately the decorations on it started slipping and falling off My husband and my father went to pick up the cake and bring it to the venue and when i saw the cake i was upset the color wasn't the color i wanted i requested a 2 tier cake the cake I received was 2 round cakes stacked on tops of each other. The top layer was vanilla and the bottom was chocolate. It was melting and we had to start cutting the cake before we had a huge mess on the cake table so everyone had cake while eating food and most of it went to waste.i was so upset you would have thought it was ice cream cake When we cut into it and shared it out i wanted to try a piece of both the vanilla was dry and had no flavor whatsoever and the chocolate was also so dry the chocolate truffle inside taste frozen it was a disaster luckily I made mason jar cakes and all her treats were made by me. It was either they made it last minute or had it sitting in the freezer for 2 weeks. The staff were really nice but I won’t be ordering another custom cake from them.I haven’t tried or tasted anything else from the bakery so I can’t speak for the other cakes, pastries etc.

In the photos i am posting the first image is what i wanted the 2nd photo is what I got as you can see the cake is melting the indent on the front just the cake made in general was poorly made. The decorations were cute i just wish the cake was made how i wanted especially for the price I paid.
I have been remiss in rating UK, U.S., & Manhattan food providers but not the consistently great stalwart Bushwick Bakery only 400 feet from where I live (this facility also provides liver treats to my Pug who helped in encouraging my belated review).
As my family has frequented Bushwick Bakery frequently over the last five years, I will not dwell on any particular item but rather the overall consistently quality of the baked goods delivered on a day to day basis at a reasonable cost.
If you stop by during warmer weather, you might see my pug at an outdoor table snacking on her bakery supplied liver treats!

interesting bakery that’s always busy. Their baguettes are definitely not your usual expectation of a french baguette. It’s not pointy and doesn’t have a hard crust. It’s not bad but just maybe not of everyone’s liking. Their pastry are gorgeous. I like their cinnamon roll but petition for a no/light frosting option. The frostussy really make it hard to consume it neatly.
Wow! I'm so happy I found this place. It is such a cute and comfortable atmosphere. The guy that helped me was very nice. Their selection is wonderful (I went in around 6 or 7 on a Sunday and they had so much goodies left). I got a few items to take to hang out with friends and there wasn't a crumb left after we tried everything. Not a single disappointing thing in the box. The brown butter and Chai cookies really blew my mind. Prices are great considering the excellent quality of everything and the packaging they put they put the items in. Can't wait to go back!
My absolute favorite bakery in Brooklyn. Not only do they have a wide selection of delicious treats (including vegan options!) and great coffee, but they also have the most warm and friendly staff ever. Literally every time I’ve come here, I’ve had a lovely interaction with the staff that immediately puts me in a great mood (unlike some other bakeries and coffee shops in the area). They also have a cute section of gifts and greeting cards. Try the banana breakfast bun—it’s the PERFECT texture and sweetness level with a morning cup of coffee. Thank you, Good Batch, for being such a yummy and delicious ray of sunshine in the neighborhood :)

great coffee and delicious pastries :) the staff is also so nice!
This is one of the few places i've been that's 100% 5 stars top to bottom. The best coffees i've had in NYC over the past 8yrs have been here, and every one of their cookies are SPECTACULAR.

Above all this though, im specifically leaving this review because all of the staff here is amazingly friendly, pleasant, and courteous all day everyday. From what i've seen this is a well-loved business in the community and they've fully earned it. Cannot recommend enough 👏🏽👏🏽

Found this spot by accident after leaving another eatery and wanting something sweet. Well to my surprise as I rounded the corner..I saw this bakery. This is a small spot with seating outdoors (which is great with warmer weather). Inside is small but charming. I ordered a slice of pumpkin pie and hot chocolate and loved it. The hot chocolate needed to be much hotter (was lukewarm) but it did taste delicious…

When I lived in Brooklyn I always purchase cakes, pastries and cookies from here. Their cakes are very delicious. After leaving Brooklyn for the last 7 years, when I go back in the area I always purchase a cake. I laugh when they asked "do you need any writing on the cake" no we're just buying it because its yummy.

Ever cake we have purchase we love I cant truly pick one that's my favorite. My kids absolutely love the character cookies, they must get one every time we visit. My 15 year old was looking for hello kitty today (memories getting that particular cookie) but settle for a mickey mouse one instead.

The little fudge cake here was so delicious I started eating it before I could even get a picture of it!

The fact that it's vegan/gluten-free and so delicious is amazing. The place is chill, the staff are nice, and the dietary options are great. Their cookies are apparently good according to a friend. Pretty hip, relaxed spot to grab a bite and to unwind.

Definitely worth it to visit if in the area. 10/10

The staff was really nice. The guy working recommended the tahini chocolate chip cookie and it was perfect.
The texture reminded me of the Betty Crocker oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. It was soft and chewy but not undercooked and gooey. The tahini helped make the cookie not overly sweet. It makes me excited to try the other flavors available.
These folks are the best! My coffee shop (The Concrete Jungle) wholesales with them and their wholesale team is friendly and accommodating. They bring the warmth and attention of a small shop with the professionalism and experience of a larger business. Not to mention their delicious pastries - they have a great selection of non-vegan, vegan, and gluten-free options which work great for my diverse clientele. Looking forward to a fruitful partnership!
I’m a sucker for sprinkles and that’s what initially got me to walk into Good Batch! I love all the cookie options and they had a specialized Peach Cobbler flavor that they did in collaboration with another chef. Although I didn’t try that one, I purchased the Confetti cookie, chocolate chip and the oatmeal chocolate. I was a big fan of the confetti and chocolate chip. The cookies are not hard or soft. They are right in the middle for people who are serious about cookie textures. I appreciate that the cookies are not super sweet which is hard to do with a confetti cookie. I’ll definitely be back and they have a great deal of buying 5 cookies and getting 1 free. The cookies range from $3-$5/$6 dollars.

There is seating inside and it’s pretty quiet if you want to get some work done in there. They also have ice cream sandwich cookies which I have to go back to try because I love ice cream.
Nestled amidst the vibrant and trendy Brooklyn enclave of Park Slope, with its chic boutiques and eclectic eateries, "Colson Patisserie" stands out as a beacon of authentic French-Belgian charm. As the leaves take on a golden hue in the fall, families and aficionados alike are drawn to this quaint bakery, reminiscent of the enchanting Parisian patisseries of yesteryears.

The neighborhood itself is a delightful blend of contemporary flair and timeless elegance, making it a perfect backdrop amoungs the brownstone homes for this gem of a bakery. As you stroll down the avenue, the allure of "Colson Patisserie" is undeniable. The thought and passion poured into this establishment are evident in every detail, from its inviting ambiance to the meticulously crafted pastries.

During my recent visit, I was transported to the romantic boulevards of 1980s Paris. The pastries, a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation, were the perfect addition to our cherished Saturday brunch ritual. The service was impeccable, making the experience all the more memorable.

In conclusion, if you're in Park Slope and yearn for a slice of authentic French-Belgian delight, "Colson Patisserie" is a must-visit. Whether you're indulging in a leisurely tea-time or grabbing a quick coffee, this bakery promises a touch of Paris in the heart of Brooklyn. Bon appétit! 🥐🍂🗼

Ordered a few pastries and was disappointed with the quality we received. The almond croissant tasted stale, and wasn't particularly flaky. Only the filling was buttery, not every layer. The chocolate croissant had a meager amount of chocolate inside. The cherry scone was dry , tough, and lacked sweetness. The raspberry donut was quite good though! Would recommend a few other bakeries a few blocks north of here instead.

🎵 I drove all night 🎵 ( thank you, Celine Dion) from Iowa to visit my kiddo in the hospital. Their only request was an iced coffee, so I chose this place after searching for savory pastries (for myself 😉). Two kind humans were working. Their selection was beautiful. I bought an assortment, and they made my kiddos coffee without ice, so I could add some later ( I chugged my delicious iced coffee stat #neededit). They directed me to where I could find better toothpaste for them (hospital toothpaste out the window). They even gave me a token for a free drink for my kiddo when they got out of the hospital, as they live in the area. Big big props from this Midwestern girl! Thank you.

We love getting their chocolate cake here whenever we are in the area. Their chocolate cake is not too sweet and that’s exactly how we like it. Most of the cakes we have eaten in South Brooklyn are always sweet or they don’t taste as great but the chocolate cake here is different. I believe they also have some crushed almonds in there which makes it even better in terms of texture. The taste and the amount of filling they have is just perfect.
I got a mixed box of delicious cookies from the Good Batch which were incredibly tasty, freshly baked and weren't too crumbly. My favourite were the chocolate chip ones and I enjoyed heating them up in the microwave slightly so the chocolate melted a little bit 😋

Another time I had a set of cupcakes and they were also really enjoyable with lots of flavor options.

Absolutely love this bakery for numerous baked goods regardless of reason or season but felt compelled to create a review after having a delicious strawberry shortcake for my grandfather’s birthday. He said it was the very best he’d ever had and if that’s not deserving of 5 stars, I don’t know what is. Keep up the amazing work!
Cute little shop with a simple menu love the decor inside (sorry didnt get a picture).

Not a cupcake person BUT the BROWNBUTTER SALTY CUPCAKE caught my eye because brown butter?! All i saw was yum flavor !! Haha. Tastes so good! Has a little compote on top so good!

Coming back when it’s warmer for the ice cream sandwich !

They have very high standards for their baking, along with a very tolerant position regarding the varied customers.
How so? Last winter they advertised a specialty French Christmas cake, and a Sephardic Jewish Hanukkah specialty (don't call sufganayot a Jelly Doughnut!) ON THE SAME SIGN.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Never EVER ordering a customized cake from here again. I asked for something not so hard to do, all I wanted was a fresh cake with pink and blue circles for a gender reveal. Little did I know I was going to have to be embarrassed when my family was eating it and they mentioned how rotten and hard the inside was, let alone the fact that the frosting was hard and extra salty. Anyone would be fooled by the first look, but this bakery never fails to disappoint. Now I see why when I went once, a woman who ordered a customized cake that was probably super expensive was so angry. Never again, my poor pregnant family member whose baby shower it was also ate it. I’m beyond disgusted. Rotten, hard, and sour cake. Never again. Beginning to feel the stomach ache coming in 😣 .
Great local bakery! I've tried many items here, by far their Baklava is the best around 😋🥰. It's very hard to pace yourself. Prices are average and what you get for the price is well worth it. I get one slice of Tiramisu every time I stop in too - very decadent and the layers soaked perfectly! Mice cake, German Chocolate, cinnamon rings, carrot cake.... Love this place!

Came here twice for almond croissants and lattes; the food and drinks were good but the services could be better. Especially in the morning time, they seem to not want to work. Asked for 1 croissant but saw him put 2, then I told them I only want 1 croissant but ignored me.

Decent, large cookies. Not overly sweet. Fun varieties. Found the flavors to be light on some & heavy-handed on others. The peanut butter could have had more peanuty goodness, while the Spiced Thumbprint (we initially thought it was going to be a Raspberry Shortbread) was overly Spiced, while the shortbread part of the cookie was mild. Very off-balanced and inedible because it was overly-cayenned without other flavors popping through. And we're "heat" people.
Really enjoyed the Sprinkle Cookie until the middle was undercooked. Yes, we eat raw dough from time-to-time but this wasn't the time for it.

The Cupcakes are small, not the minis but not the standard size. They're perfect for a quick bite. Not overly sweet but again, the flavors were mild, including the frosting toppings. Nothing really stands OUT. Because they have to keep them refrigerated, flavors can be muted but still, as they became room temperature, still fell flat.
They have Ice Cream Cookies too but we were traveling and they would have melted.
The box these treats come in are fun and festive. Reminded me of Sesame Street for some reason. Overall, they make a great gift for parties, hostess gift or office treats. They traveled well, too, including the cupcakes.

Such a wide selection of pastries! The cream filled pastry, no idea what it’s called (oops!) was great. The croissants and other treats all tasted fresh and there was no end to options. Coffee was good and they were pretty quick. Still observing proper COVID guidelines and most of the patrons mask up as well from what I saw.

Been here a few times, owners and staff are so pleasant... Everything we have tried, is fresh, delicious, and prices are very reasonable for great quality . For true chocolate lovers a must try "Triple chocolate" has cherry filling, "German cake" has coconut" and cute Mice cake has almond pieces. Strawberry shortcake, fruit tart... great when having company or to bring over for family/friends well packed..
Easily one of the most popular bakeries in Park Slope, and well known in Brooklyn. Makes a fine and strong chai latte, offers many fresh cookies and pastries, and has some yummy breads to grab to go. The kid was always a fan of the bear cookie. Sweet spot.

Offering a wide variety of freshly baked cookies, pastries and bread.

My favorite is their cheesecake, but it must be consumed within a day or two of preparation as it ages quickly. Chocolate lovers will be disappointed as their brownies are good but often sold beyond their expiration point and their eclairs are not chocolatey enough.

For holidays they usually have free samples by the cash register which I always find hard to resist.

They use quality ingredients which is reflected in their pricing and are one of the best bakeries in Bay Ridge for non-chocolate items.

Cute bakery with great bread and sandwiches. The smell of fresh baking in the morning is always nice. They have good coffee and two tables to sit at inside and a few outside. The pastries are usually high quality and I really like their banana Nutella croissant and the almond croissant.

FYI: there is no bathroom and they.
