This nursery one of if not the nicest nursery I have been to. My wife and I visited Bayridge when seeking perennials and shrubs for our yard. The owners, Jack and Lori, were incredibly helpful and very patient as we searched around for the right fit of plants for us. I would highly recommend Bayridge and not just their landscape options, but they also have a great hardscape selection with Belgard pavers as well.

This is my “go to” nursery in Annapolis to find the plants I’m searching for, and discovering many others that become favorites. The folks there are always willing to spend their time and knowledge with their patrons. Staff member, Miriam, has created awesome displays of houseplants, various decorative items, local artwork, and gardening tools in the nursery gift shop.

A cozy little place with an oddball selection of plants for decent if not great prices--I always try to look here first before going to other stores and have found some good, hardy natives and otherwise solid plants here. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, will hunt through the yard to track down something you vaguely remember seeing three weeks ago. They frequently have sales of entirely healthy plants to make room in their inventory for seasonal stuff. The small yard makes it unlikely you'll find a very specific thing when you visit, but coming in with an open mind yields excellent results.

Great local garden store with a lot of rocks to go with plants. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The plant selection is very broad. It is very straightforward with everything right out in front of you.

I’ve been going to Windward Gardens for 15 years. I will go nowhere else now and have shopped elsewhere and I’ve never been satisfied as I have been here. Elmer seems to know everything about everything is always helpful for lifting and hauling. The husband and wife who own it are wonderful.

I visited the nursery with a loose plan for my front yard. Lisa was absolutely wonderful, very helpful with tips and advice based off of my space. Would definitely go here again.

Better selection of plants than I found lookingl at other places recently. Mostly looking healthy and well cared for. Plenty of perennial and annuals and herbs. What was left of the vegetables were on sale 1/2 half today. 7/13/21

Year after year after year.... my flower garden never disappoints. Healthy vibrant plants make beautiful gardens. And I don’t even have a green thumb. The staff is courteous and helpful and I LOVE supporting the small family owned businesses instead of the big box.

Lovely little place, a small business I like to support. The outside has been expanded and improved with lots of plant choices... annuals and perennials, shrubs, landscaping plants and some veggies and herbs, too. Inside, the gift shop has many fun items for sale. The staff is also very helpful and super nice. It's like a small oasis where you get personal attention and can have a little chat... such a refreshing change from impersonal service from bored employees at larger chain stores. Drop by, you'll love it!

This is one of my favorite nurseries in Annapolis (or in the whole world for that matter.) They have an amazing selection of flowers, herbs, and perennials. Also to be found are rocks to adorn your garden that range in size from fairly small to boulders and granite slabs that have smooth or jagged edges. Elmer, who is very friendly, courteous and knowledgable seems to run the place single-handedly. He is very helpful. It is a pleasure to go there, even if it's just to browse.

Beautiful plants, easy access, with classical music playing.

I visited this location with my daughter to find a Christmas tree but we needed a truck to get the tree home. So my husband and his friend went back to purchase a tree and when they got it home it didn’t look like the ones my daughter and I seen on our first visit. The tree had a weed growing all the way up the tree and missing a lot pine on one side. So we cut the weed off the trunk and placed the tree in the tree stand with the screws but the tree kept falling over. The tree was just uneven from one side to the next. Even if we were to cut the tree up there would have been only half left. So needless to say we didn’t have Christmas tree for Christmas in our new home.

Excellent selection of perennials. Annual selection a bit samey towards the fall. I am able to find native plants as well as regular find-everywhere ones, and My spouse and I were thrilled to find they carried epazote. Excellent compost, it made the basis for a wonderfully effective soil mixture. I will be returning again for more perennial bee, butterly, and hummingbird atrractors.

Nice, hidden gem. Skip the big box store for flowers! This place has many varieties of annuals & perennials. Stopped in to look at stone prices&found that very many varieties are offered. Person working there was very helpful & knowledgeable.

Always encounter pleasant staff who are always willing to help. Big shout out to the lumber department (Greg especially) who helped gather everything I needed for my garden beds and cut everything to the measurements I needed to make my project much easier!!

Excellent customer service, very knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with. They went above and beyond to come to my house to offer guidance on placement of shrubs. Very competitively priced. Highly recommend,
