Great local garden store with a lot of rocks to go with plants. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The plant selection is very broad. It is very straightforward with everything right out in front of you.

I’ve been going to Windward Gardens for 15 years. I will go nowhere else now and have shopped elsewhere and I’ve never been satisfied as I have been here. Elmer seems to know everything about everything is always helpful for lifting and hauling. The husband and wife who own it are wonderful.

Better selection of plants than I found lookingl at other places recently. Mostly looking healthy and well cared for. Plenty of perennial and annuals and herbs. What was left of the vegetables were on sale 1/2 half today. 7/13/21

Year after year after year.... my flower garden never disappoints. Healthy vibrant plants make beautiful gardens. And I don’t even have a green thumb. The staff is courteous and helpful and I LOVE supporting the small family owned businesses instead of the big box.

This is one of my favorite nurseries in Annapolis (or in the whole world for that matter.) They have an amazing selection of flowers, herbs, and perennials. Also to be found are rocks to adorn your garden that range in size from fairly small to boulders and granite slabs that have smooth or jagged edges. Elmer, who is very friendly, courteous and knowledgable seems to run the place single-handedly. He is very helpful. It is a pleasure to go there, even if it's just to browse.

Beautiful plants, easy access, with classical music playing.

Excellent selection of perennials. Annual selection a bit samey towards the fall. I am able to find native plants as well as regular find-everywhere ones, and My spouse and I were thrilled to find they carried epazote. Excellent compost, it made the basis for a wonderfully effective soil mixture. I will be returning again for more perennial bee, butterly, and hummingbird atrractors.
