Great Thai Red curry! I could taste the grated coconut in the curry as compared to the store bought coconut milk used by most Asian restaurants here. Polite staff and quick service. The only drawback would be that it's cash, but they also offer PayPal.
Beautifully decorated and cozy restaurant with truly delicious food and a warm, zen aesthetic. Affordable prices and a diverse menu. Everything looks exquisite in its presentation. They serve tea in the cutest ceramic teapots. 5 stars in all aspects. A wonderful experience, highly recommended!

Its disgusting food, everything is swimming in sauce. Was like soup with rice, meat And sałat. Completely tasteless. It was supposed to be a sweet and sour sauce, but it was tomato sauce. Never again.
Essen höchstens Durchschnitt, Thai-Auberginen sind immer noch ausgewiesen, obwohl es sie seit Jahren nicht mehr gibt, eine Asiatin bei der Essensausgabe spricht so laut, schrill und ist so unfreundlich, dass ich da nicht mehr esse, wenn die da ist.

Pad Thai is quite authentic here...even the coconut curries... Tastes really different but is awesome if compared with other restaurants.

Me and my husband always love visiting this restaurant. Perfect ambience, loved the food, and specially the service is awesome.

Has nothing to do with its name pattaya we thought thai restaurant from the name but when we reach there found it Vietnamese restaurant nothing to do with Thai except 3 or 4 items in the menu is thai we ordered thai dishes waiters even didn't know it's thai names tast ok but nothing to do with thai taste over priced som tum ( papaya salad ) too small portion pad thai ( noodles with shrimps ) big portion tasty but different taste than what I eat in Thailand, not cheap pricy compared to other Vietnamese restaurant we dine.
With my husband we regularly go to this restaurant to eat at noon because the food is delicious, the portions are large and the service is always excellent. What we like the most is that the food is not dry, they always have enough sauce and vegetables. Yesterday we ordered the menu of the day that included a tofu or chicken soup as a starter and it was delicious, full of flavor, with mushrooms, chicken or tofu and vegetables. We also ordered two drinks (one with maracuja and one with apple and mint) and both were fresh and tasty. The food as always delicious!! we will return as always to try new things 😊 Total was 25€ for 2 🩷

This is one of my favourite Thai food places in Berlin. Everything on the menu is delicious. Always a great experience!
Large portions, you will not leave this restaurant hungry. The waiter was super friendly, offered us free soups to start with! Definitely coming back!
I agree that the prices are affordable, but the service and the quality of the food is unfortunately not good. Some notes:
-For non- german speakers may not be ideal, very hard to communicate with language barriers.
-I asked a dish without coriander and it came with it, not possible to separate them from the meal.
-I found a small packaging piece in my meal.
-The dim sum with shrimps really tasted bad as if the shrimp had gone bad.
-My friend ordered a dish with baked chicken and it came with fried chicken.
-Inside environment with very heavy smell.

An exquisite example of Thai cuisine. We had Daydream (crispy duck w/ a very fresh salad served with sweet potato fries and peanut butter sauce), prawn Pad Thai and a beautiful, spicy dish with spinach and beef in broth to share. The homemade drinks were so tasty and fragrant, and can be combined with vodka & rom. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The prices are reasonable. The ambiance is really nice and it’s located on a quite, peaceful street. Overall, I’d highly recommend this place to those looking for a good Thai restaurant.

It’s a one time visit place . As i had some work in wittenau I went there for lunch . The face of a house is living room like that the face of the restaurant is the reception which has to offer the guest a warm welcome with a smile and hello but here don’t expect that . Although we booked a table by phone we were greeted by a nod from the reception. The inside was warm and without AC We thought of sitting outside but it was covered in cigarette smoke , so we chose to sit inside . The server behaved well with a smile . The food was average . The hot and sour soup was filled with tomato ketchup and was watery . Pfanne was good . Mocktails were below average . Summer rolls were dry with more noodles and less meat . Pad Thai was good .we preferred to have deserts from another place as it was pretty stuffy in the restaurant

A cozy place with a nice ambience, friendly staff and good food to eat. It is not too pricey and they serve quite a lot in one portion. I had to pack my food back home. A nice place to spend a good evening. I would suggest going there hungry to make the most of it.
Perfect value for money. Meaning that the flavour is intensive and portions big! I will come back here for sure.
I saw this restaurant on Google and it immediately caught my eye because the pictures just looked amazing. Of course, the restaurant did not disappoint! The dishes were were generous and tasted amazing. Moreover, the drinks were super good: I got a spritz and, as an Italian, I can really say it was very well made! Also amazing price to value ratio, the extensive menu has so many convenient offers for delicious dishes. Will come back soon!

Service was really friendly and the starter shrimp summer rolls were fresh, crunchy, and tasty. However both green and massaman curries were not authentic and tasty at all. Sauce was grainy and tasted of instant curry powder. The place is clearly Vietnamese even tho the name suggests otherwise. I think you will be happy with the Vietnamese food here, but the Thai stuff as far as we experienced is not what you would expect.
All vegetarians and vegans KEEP AWAY from this restaurant. I ordered a dish that was marked as vegetarian, and after I finished half of it, I suddenly had piece of chicken in my mouth.
I haven’t eaten meat in 6 years, and this restaurant put bits of chicken in the bottom of my Pho.

So we were quite confused about the name "Batu Pattaya Vietnamese cuisine" because we recognized that Pattaya is a city in Thailand. As it turned out the place is only called Pattaya because it belongs to the Thai food stall next door. Enjoy
Really tasteful. Yellow curry was a perfect spice combo. A lot of nicely cooked vegetables also hidden below the meat !
They do offer other asian cuisines alongside the Thai one. I ordered a Vietnamese pho which couldn’t be farther from what a genuine pho tastes and looks like. But still not bad. Just not authentic at all.

Overall I would say this is a great place for Thai food in Prenzlauer Berg. The food is fresh and tastes amazing. The service is amazing, with a very polite and attentive staff. The price is not too salty, but sadly one can only pay in cash.
3.5 stars would be fair. A decent Thai eatery with a pleasant interior and nice staff. I wouldn’t recommend the hot and sour soup, as it was neither sour nor hot but rather sweet actually. The curry dishes are good here, although the spice level is extremely mild. I’ve had their spiciest dish and had to add half a container of chili sauce just to feel some heat. The prices are rather low but the portions are actually quite small.
Have lived in this area for 2 years and didn’t expect that there’s a nice Asian restaurant. The food is amazing good! I like the new discovery today and definitely will be back soon.
Best authentic Thai food in Berlin. I have been several times in Thailand and know real Thai food. The spices and herbs in the curry are like in Thailand. Highly recommended.
Fresh, delicious and cool place.
A nice place for dinner or lunch! The food comes very quickly and the service is accommodating, always checking if everything is okay. The only thing we didn't like was that the rice and meat was served with a salad but there was no sauce with it. In general the amount of sauce you're getting is not really enough and because it comes separately from the meat the flavour was missing for me a little bit. We started off with a small soup which was the highlight for me.

One of the best restaurants for yummy and delicious food. Its serves a wide variety of rice, noodles and soup with various flavors. I love the fried glass noodles, the pad thai, massaman favours and of course the traditional fried rice.. try it when you are around here. #tasty #berlin #noodles

What an amazing surprise of a place!!!! Small and hidden but a very cosy place, really friendly staff, very tasty food at a fair price. Very satisfied.

A sure place for a romantic and unusual dinner.
I’ve stuck with the Nasi Goreng for the last six years and I’ll probably stick with it for another six. Comfort food, competitive pricing, fast (if your first), a little bit spicy (if you ask), and comes with minimal chat (don’t ask). Five stars to the hard working couple who run the place day in day out. Shop next door (SYTU) does great food as well so two “cook-less nights” are covered.

Mein Mann hat vorhin von diesem Chinesen Essen mitgebracht. Ich frage mich, was man bei gebratenen Nudeln falsch machen kann 😠, ungewürzt, fader Geschmack, Gemüse war nicht zu finden, alles in allem war das Essen sein Geld nicht Wert gewesen. Gerade in Zeiten von Corona muss ich als Restaurant abliefern‼️

My favourite place to get takeaway or dine in (though Friday nights it is very busy so expect a longer wait). Simply cooked, delicious dishes with lots of fresh vegetables, fast and friendly service and not too expensive. Old-fashioned, casual family style restaurant and owners that always make you feel welcome.

Easy, competitive prices and pretty good quality. Nice to find a Thai Restaurant in Berlin amongst the dominance of Vietnamese locations around the city. The dishes are of a decent enough quality to justify the price. A great place for an easy lunch or a quick dinner, especially in a not so cheap neighborhood. If you’re really into the Thai cuisine and I mean authentic Thai, probably best to mention that to the waitress since you’ll need to remind yourself that you’re in Germany and the spice can be quite underwhelming. However the service is kind and I’m sure they will help you out on that one. All in all a super place and a beautiful Fish Tank!

I came here twice during my weekend trip in Berlin! The food was so tasty that we had to come again. We loved it! The homemade drinks were so fresh and refreshing. The waiter were super nice and friendly. Would recommend everyone to try this one. 😍

Sommer Rolls were amazing! My soup with shrimp & rice noodles was great but my fiancée's beef was dry and the vegetables were not good.. soggy beans, cauliflower and broccoli. Shame as it spoiled an otherwise pleasant evening!
The food is being prepared in front of you. Worth noticing is that the cook is always washing hands before and after touching anything other than food and is changing the oil and pan with every customer. Prices are really attractive and the portions are good to even share them for two. Definitely recommended.

Sad food, not tasty, kind of nasty unpleasant service, no patience no English. I had veggies i could of done better at home on my electric stove and spring rolls that were yummy but soaking in oil and probably not prepared there. Another fay i had veggie noodle soup which tasted like sprout juice. NOT YUMMY. thank god prenzlauberg has many different Asian spots. Portions are big, but who needs a lot of nothing?
Very nice food. Plates were chipped. There were no bananas for the banana splits. There was a wire in the salad. It took over an hour for the plates to be taken away between courses. Then 3 out of four coffees were delivered. The remaining one took 20 minutes. Very sad.

Tasty Asian style dishes for an affordable price. Tofu is tasty. They have a good amount of veges, which is a massive positive for me. The chilli condiment is a great addition! Love this place.

Great food for great prices. The staff is always friendly and the food comes our fast. Its nice that they have so many spicy sauces and peppers that you can add to your dish. I eat almost every week ans have not been disappointed .
Very good food for little money. It might not be the most romantic spot, but it is absolutely perfect to grab a bite. Food is delicious and fresh, suitable for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans alike. The staff is swift and adorable.
