First time here and I LOVED IT!

And the guy was so kind and professional.

First time trying this place, it smelled like raw meat when I walked in. I still ordered because I thought the smell would pass, but it just got worse. My water glass had lipstick marks all over it. The staff didn’t seem very bothered by this when I notified them. By the time the food arrived, I had the overwhelming feeling of wanting to vomit and didn’t even have the heart to eat it. Whoever is managing this place is neglecting it. Never again. I wouldn’t return here if you paid me.

I recently dined at Mad for Chicken and had a mixed experience. The cozy cabin-like atmosphere combined with a sports bar vibe makes it a great spot for large groups. The restaurant also offers a wide selection of beers, which is definitely a plus.

We ordered the 20 piece spicy chicken wings, and they were fantastic! The wings had a crispy exterior and a moist and tender interior. The spiciness was packed with flavor, and as we indulged in more wings, the heat really kicked in. It was a delicious and satisfying dish.

However, we were disappointed with the crispy chicken bowl. While the sauce was great, there was an excessive amount of it, making the dish overly salty and the chicken soggy. The flavor was mostly dominated by the BBQ sauce, and the more we ate, the less we enjoyed it. I would not recommend this particular dish.

On a positive note, they offer free popcorn with Asian savory seasoning, which was a tasty and enjoyable snack.

During our visit, they had the basketball all-star game playing on all screens with audio, adding to the lively atmosphere. Overall, we had a good time at Mad for Chicken, especially with the great vibes and the opportunity to hang out with my girlfriend.

Very tiny place. It get full quickly and hardly any place to wait for your order. Other than that their bubble teas are delicious.

Menu is very limited. Ordering done via a QR code results in no contact with staff. Took about 45 minutes to get my food which caused my order to time out which meant they got a 20% tip automatically. Not sure if this is a strategic plan to boost revenues or just a coincidence.

Food tasted fine. Servers when you saw them were polite.

I might recommend sitting at the bar so you at least have a person to interact with. Doubt I'd go back.

Ordered a burger in person a few days after placing an UberEats order. Asked counter person for the burger I ordered online. I told him I wanted what I ordered online, it comes with the sauce (the standard). He proceeds to ask me what I want on the burger, this was my first time ever ordering in person, and only my second time ordering there. I list everything that is on "The Standard."

I Didn't have my glasses so I had trouble viewing the menu.I asked what's the difference between what he's charging me for and "The Standard," he literally ignored my question (I was the only customer there). He charges me and I realize it's more than it should be. I asked for the receipt, and he said the cook has it and I will get it at the end.

As I grabbed my order, I asked him again what the difference is, and he actually responds with "nothing, but the price." He purposely charged me for the more expensive "Build My Burger." I haven't been back since. Bad customer service. I now go to Petey's and order from there once a week. They have great burger combos (includes fries and drink) for the same price as that burger he charged me for.

Stopped in for takeout lunch today, first time here. There's 11 tables, 7 bar seats, overall seating for 40 with 8 beers on tap. Got a 10 piece wing, came to $17.37. A smidge on the expensive side in my opinion. It was bagged and ready in just 8 minutes. Both the soy garlic and bourbon sauces were awesome, chicken was juicy and had a nice crisp fried batter. It was served with a side of some pickled vegetable, the pickle was weak and the veggie somewhat hard, unnecessary.

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with the food, service, and atmosphere. The food was expensive (I expected that), but it was delicious. The service was fast, and my food was fresh and hot. I ordered wings (barbecue and vinegar rub) with chips and dip, and to drink, ginger ale. You walk in, pick your seat, and then order from QR code at your table. The waitress actually checks on you. Normally, you get a mix of drums and flat pieces. I was able to order flat pieces only, which I loved. When you can order exactly what you want, it makes a difference. There were several TVS and nice music playing in the background. It was very relaxing. I definitely recommend this place. Sadly, I didn't take any photos because I wasn't expecting much, but next time, I will.

Service was fairly quick but very inattentive. Two servers sat at a table and talked. Never came back to check I is and I eventually had to go to her to ask for a refill.

The food was served quickly but the fries were cold and clammy having sat out for quite awhile.

One think to note is that none of the airports restaurants have good ratings. It’s to bad really.

Solid place to get Korean fried chicken. The soy garlic was delicious and the chicken was crispy and juicy. The parmesan truffle fries were great. I would come back..

This is my really first time to try Mad for Chicken at Flushing, me and my friends decide went here after finish working cause we starving some food after along day raining, and we saw they're open until 1 AM. After order some foods, i'm literally impress with their portion, price, and taste.. all of them were so good and we really enjoy it, then we got served by same nationality server like us hehehe, so it make so happy cause we asking some recommendation from him (but we don't know the name cause he didn't mention at the beginning). Definately we will be back!

If I could score it lower I would! Not worth the visit. Spent $57. Service was shocking food was terrible. The chicken was cold and dry. Staff were arguing between themselves. We had to ask for the check 3 times. It felt like the staff was borderline rude!!

We ordered online for pickup, and got the wrong order for one of the burgers. We got a lettuce bun which was very different from the brioche bun we ordered. The lettuce bun was also not even properly done and was leaking everywhere…

Called the store and they offered to replace the burger - one hour later. It was just too long to wait and too far to go pick up again. To be fair we got a refund on the burger, but still a pretty bad experience.

Always a fun time at MFC. The fried chicken platters and sauce options are plenty. You can customize based on size or sauce. This visit was with a larger group (about 12 people) so we ordered plenty. Cash is still suggested (please mention it so they can provide a new check) even though credit cards are accepted, the charge fee is 5%. Must try: soy garlic wings, peach habanero sauce definitely gives you a kick, and the Poutine (French Fries topped with bugolgi, diced onions, and corn). Kimchi fries or truffle fries are also a good bet if you prefer more simple. Soju, beer and sparkling drinks are also a must try.

This review covers two recent visits to the JFK restaurant over the course of a month, so not a one-off event, and results were similar at both visits.
Unfortunately, the food was not great. Ordered wings both times, and the servings were generally small in size and dry.
The server on the most recent visit (Justin, I believe) was very friendly but was severely understaffed for the time of day and traffic level. A full house main and 2nd room, 2 staffers (photo included). Didn't see management in support. I generally enjoy the BWW chain, but this site was very disappointing.

When I walked in to place my order the kitchen was very busy, which showed me it’s probably as good as I’ve heard. While waiting for my order, another customer who was also waiting wrote a negative review about the wait time while still in the restaurant. The staff handled it with grace and ensured he got his order and everything he could have needed. Sasha was awesome at handling all of the delivery drivers and customers.

They’ve caught some flak in previous posts but for a Saturday night I thought they did pretty well. The waiter warned me it would be a 30 min wait for food but was always checking on me making sure I was ok.
The wings were in fact worth the wait, tried traditional and boneless, spicy garlic and lemon pepper dry rub were my favorites. Caribbean jerk was undercover spicy!

I ordered a delivery of garlic parmesan flavored chicken wings, and they were extremely crispy and flavorful. In addition the wings were very meaty so I ended up having some leftovers.

The order also arrived in less than 30 minutes which was a plus.

Next time I'll try their soy garlic which appears to be the most popular flavor. 🍗

I order from this place all the time. They are expensive. I had an issue with my seemless order and when I called to tell them about my issue the guy who picked the phone was very nasty to me. He told me that if I don’t know how to order I shouldn’t. He said that I was the only one to complain. Do not order from this place. I’m a good customer and that’s how you treat a person. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would!!!

Great sports bar like atmosphere with tasty food and a creative menu. Prices are relatively higher than the typical restaurant here in flushing. Nonetheless, the chicken is freakin awesome!

Recommend: the sweet and spicy chicken tenders. Good sized chicken and the sauce is just delicious

All round great fried chicken sports bar in a casual atmosphere. Priced right and comfortable surroundings. Food it's amazing, especially the headline chicken.

I can take some hot food. But for spicy garlic, this was a bit too much. The Spicy sauce could have been served as a dip instead. It would make it much better imo.
The service was okayish. We had to wait slightly too long to get served.

Hands down the best chicken I have had in a while. The rice was also flavorful and very tasty. It’s a must try at least once!

My husband and I had a great lunch date here. It took a long time for the food to come out, but it was good—I had the elk burger and the roasted Brussels sprouts. Would come here again as long as we aren’t rushed.

Excellent chicken and fries!!

Came on a Friday evening, it wasn’t too busy, we were seated comfortably right away. Had wings, drumsticks, tenders and fries. All of the chicken was really well fried and juicy. The wings and drumsticks were fall off the bone tender. My favorite sauce was the sweet and spicy. It was the perfect amount of heat. The fries were great and had a nice crunch!

They have a wide selection of beverages, multiple TVs and a good ambiance. There is also music but not overbearing and enough to have a fine conversation. We also appreciated that there was no rush with the bill and they let us sit as long as we wanted. Absolutely would return.

I’ve never had Korean food . Decided to give it a try , they sent spoiled guacamole . The chicken was fried in some rancid oil . It stink so bad . This is the reason people end up in hospitals . You can tell it was prepared in an unsanitary way. Disgusting people

Easily seated. However there was only one waiter. I was disappointed in the presentation of the burger. It was very lackluster and also the taste was bland as well. I almost got up waiting for the waiter to get a refill of water. I was very disappointed about how expensive the burger was and how it tasted. Only thing I enjoyed was my bacon cheese fries. Although they skimmed on the cheese sauce.

Speedy service. Friendly counter person. I ordered a variety of meals on the menu. I was not pleased. My chicken tenders were a nice size, but where over cooked and hard. My side salad was fresh and the Italian dressing was delicious. They gave me a nice amount of sweet plantains. The sweet potato fries were undercooked. I also ordered arroz con pollo which was a little salty. The side of veggies were decent.

I went during lunch time since I was in the area the other and I got a italian style chicken sandwhich, the chicken was a bit dry and the peices in the sandwhich were a bit thin and smaller than I would have liked, plus the tsaziki sauce they had was way too thick due to veggies in it that were long strands, the sandwhich all in all was just ok, and for 17$ roughly for just a sandwhich and drink I was expecting more.

The food was super tasty and a good Korean Hybrid. It was also super filling, the portions aren’t skimpy at all. It was more affordable than expected especially post pandemic. A Hidden Gem in a Mecca of Cultural Food Spots. I will definitely returning with friends/family and brining some dates here too ; ).

OBSESSED!! This particular place has become my favorite spot to go to. The wings are AMAZING!! I recommend everyone to go try them. The house ones SOY GARLIC are top and if you like a little spice like myself try the Spicy Soy Garlic; (they do have other sauces). They also have bowls, crunchy yummy fries, and more appetizers, a variety of beers on draft and also bottles.

Let me say this: I've eaten at a lot of chicken places around the world and for some reason, this grilled chicken at Astoria's Chicken Shack is THE BEST CHICKEN I've eaten. Hands down. No debate. I eat here regularly. I'm talking multiple times a week. I eat at the restaurant and I order delivery sometimes. It's the best. The chicken is moist and tender. You can see the chef make it right in front of you on the flame grill so you know IT IS VERY FRESH! It has a delicious flavor to it and the sauces complement the chicken very well. I always go for the half-chicken on the value menu ($13) because you can't get a meal better than it! It is SO HEALTHY! You are given a side salad which is fresh and you are also given another side of your choice. In addition to all of that (the chicken, the sauces, the salad, and the side), you are also given pita bread with it! This place is simply the best! I absolutely love the sweet potato fries too! THE SWEET POTATO FRIES ARE SO GOOD!!! You need to try them. They are delicious, crispy, and bursting with flavor. The combination of the half-chicken with the sweet potato fries is literally unbeatable. The price is also amazing. VERY AFFORDABLE. I absolutely love coming here. I also want to say that the manager of the shop is a great guy and everyone that works with him is also very helpful and respectful. I feel at home when I'm eating at this place! I ordered a thai tea, a basic drink that i always get. the drink is supposed to be orange and instead they filled the cup with milk and put the slightest amount of tea. i asked them to remake it with less milk and the workers gave me and attitude and put EVEN more milk.

My first time here but the teriyaki bowl list legit, a little hot, but I like that. Nice place and the other food I've seen looks good. And they have Heineken, and that makes me happy.

Revised. Met the owner. Cool guy. This place is great. Great to watch a game. Or just hang. Check it out.

Delicious boba tea!
Kinda busy place but worth it.
They don't do delivery (only pick up) and it's impossible to park somewhere by this place.

It's sad to give this place one star, as they USED to be good. Their ownership has changed this year, and every food item has gone downhill. The chicken is now the quality of a bad Chinese restaurant that just happens to have wings. The vegetables are old. The sauces are disgusting. Avoid.

One of the best places I go to constantly for Bubble Tea. I’ve been going to this store for many years. The workers are very nice and polite. My friends and family both love coming to get drinks from here. Special shout-out to Shirley, she’s taken my order for boba a couple of times and is very kind and polite about it. She recently recommended for me to try out the rosehip lemonade with popping bubbles and it’s become my new favorite ☺️

Love the service here, they’re fast. Small standing area to stay and enjoy your drink just in case.

Fries shrink in size after they change ownership. Use cheaper fries that absorb much oils. Tribble terrible heartless business. Don't even bother ordering

I have been a loyal customer at Kung Fu Tea for over two years now. I will not buy bubble tea from anywhere else. I will not go to Moge Tea across the street. Not only are all of the drinks delicious, but the #1 reason why I continue coming back is because of the amazing customer service. The people who are leaving bad reviews have no idea what they are talking about. All of the employees are amazing and hardworking, but I'd like to give a special shoutout to Shirley, who works at the register. She is polite and she takes orders very quickly and accurately. I wanted to sign up for the rewards app and she walked me through the entire process and got me started. Before I left the store, she asked me if everything was alright and if I was satisfied with my drink (which I ALWAYS am). I bring my family and friends here all the time. I strongly recommend this place to any bubble tea lover, this store is truly one of a kind. Thank you Shirley, and thank you to the rest of the employees for all that you do!

First time at this location. Went in because my 12 year old is obsessed with bubble tea. We went in and waited to order. Once it was my turn, I noticed that the cashier had an issue with us. Her tone was completely different when speaking to us as if she could care less to serve us. I hate to say it, but it may be the fact that everyone coming in was Asian and we are not. We are a Hispanic family just trying to get some bubble tea. This young lady’s tone and demeanor came off as rude. I didn’t call her out because I was with my children, but even my daughter noticed it. I don’t even think we got the correct drinks because my daughter said it didn’t taste like coconut. They weren’t very good and we threw them away. Waste of money and I hope this cashier takes accountability for her behavior. This took place today 9/17 at about 3:30pm. With all the hate in the world I pray she realizes how she affected us and made our experience with this establishment a horrible one smh…

Long Island City got lucky with this burger joint in their neck of the concrete jungle. The food is phenomenal and the service is quick and speedy.

I got the Sweet Dreams plant based burger and the sweet potato fries. All of it was fantastic. Even the beer was crispy fresh.

You order with a QR and they bring it out to you pretty quickly. It’s definitely a great spot for a lunch or dinner date with daddy.

Let's start with vibes. Nice rustic decor, beautifully decorated with reclaimed wood.
Music, no particular genre. One song could be rock other could be country and so on.
Hospitality services is below average. Upon entering you wait and they server will come and ask if take out delivery.
Table we received was not properly clean you can feel the sticky feeling of greasy substance.
Servers were busy chatting and on cellphone rather than waiting on customers.
Food, burger were little above average, not the best or tastiest as they claim. I have worked with food and it is no where near what is called fresh.
Only item that felt fresh was sweet potato fries.
Conclusion, Premium price, average service and average burger, not the best.

We visited Kung Fu Tea location on Austin street at least once a week since it’s the closest bubble tea in my neighborhood.

The space is narrow with only 10-12 seats but there is a gender neutral restroom, which is great. The staff is cool, reluctant and rude sometimes.

Our favorite is their Kung Fu Milk Tea with bubble, half sugar and less ice. Their bubble is braised with honey, chewy and sweet. The milk tea is not cooked from great tea leaves so the caffeine isn’t strong.

I loved it and it was a decent price for the neighborhood. I got the burrito but it was more like a taco 🥣 than an actual burrito. In the end it was a better choice. The red birch beer soda was a great way to wash it down afterwards.

A very nice neighborhood chicken and back ribs place. I strongly recommend you - take half chicken and half back ribs meals for two. Chicken is soft and juicy
