Sarebbe un posto molto bello se l'accesso fosse curato.
Erbe e piante ne ostruiscono la fruibilità.
Sembra più un posto per ragazzini in cerca di avventure alla Tom Sawyer.
Però vale la pena di addentrarvisi! Ne guadagna lo spirito di avventura che si nasconde in ogni adulto bambino.

Un bellissimo luogo incastonato nella natura
What’s not to love about Italy! Assisi is one of the most beautiful cities located in the Tuscan region! The churches alone are spectacular and the you’re surrounded by beautiful country! Although you may not be in Rome or Venice, Tuscany is well worth the relaxing trip!

Inaccessibili .....2 volte ci abbiamo provato e ci siamo persi!!!in strade sconnesse e pericolose!!non ci sono ne cartelli ne segnali!!a che serve la pubblicita' se poi non ci si puo andare?? Anche il navigatore non le trova!!!e'da pensarci....!!!!
Il posto che mi ricorda la fanciullezza e la gioventù, sono nata e cresciuta a 200 metri❤️

Visitata a giugno, quindi non in piena. Piccola e carina con una piccola pozza dove i locali fanno il bagno. Brevissimo e facile sentiero da percorrere per raggiungerla. Non segnalata, non facile da trovare se non si é del posto.
We came on August 12th, the spot is easily accessible but the river was completely dry so no waterfall at all!
We drove up all the way to the top in our little Volkswagen Up! The area above the tree line o ly has gravel roads, some pretty rocky, but if you drive slowly no problem. The views from the top are awesome in all directions. You can see Monte Vettore and also the Gran Sasso massif further south. There are a number of hiking trails laid out too.

Beautiful hike from Spello to Assisi, around 19 km, enjoying amazing views of the ancient (and disappeared), Tiberino lake, actually transformed in the very fertile umbra valley, and the unique landscape formations, the doline, depressions caused by collapsed caves in ancient times.
I know there's a longer route (which I haven't personally taken), that goes along an ancient Roman aqueduct

It's very beautiful up there and the views are amazing!
A wind-swept wilderness with patches of snow abound in April. Some roads were closed and some areas suffered after an earthquake last year so be prepared for plan B. Our dogs were happy to cool off in the snow though 😁
Great paths, awesome views. The itineraries from Assisi start at the Rocca Minore!
