Perfect spot for my husband to rehab from COVID pneumonia. Plenty of benches and level safe path surrounding the fountain to build up his stamina.

Very nice shaded sites. Very good shower house. Many sites on the water but not really water view due to trees. We enjoyed site #1 which was more open, private and has a nice view. Valley City is an interesting small town with many bridges over the river and a nice visitor center with a restored superintendents rail travel car.

Small but lovingly done museum. I learned a lot about the history of the area and enjoyed the displays. Some of the displays are a work in progress. Learned the history behind "Grace" the Minnesota state photo.

Very pleasant owner Chasity got us checked in to a great site. Green grassy yard and a very level gravel pad. Excellent price of $20 for full hook up so we extended our stay to visit family and friends while in the area. Close to the Charlotte Speedway but off the main road enough to be quiet. We highly recommend!
