Yates family camping

Great place to go camping and site seeing with family I really enjoyed camping out there

Nice small campground. Hosts were awesome. Campground was clean and rates were very reasonable. Close proximity to the Charlotte area.

Tent camped for 2 nights for a nascar race and the experience was awesome! Kevin was great and hooked it up with a tv so we could watch football. Had coffee out and ready in the morning. Shower was hot and clean. Walking distance to the track. Price was great! Already planning on coming back next year!

This is a great place to stay when near Charlotte, especially when attending the Charlotte motor speedway. There is parking for campers at the track complex but they don't offer any hookups. Yates Family camping is about 1 mile from the complex and provides full hookups, level lots and very friendly and accommodating. This campground will be our go to place when returning to the speedway.

We stayed here overnight. The owners are a super duper nice young couple with small children. You’re kind of staying in their back yard which gave it a home-like atmosphere. It’s about a mile away from the race track. There is some shopping as well as a few restaurants within a ten minute drive. The general area is growing quickly, but the campground has a farm feel to it with lots of undeveloped property around it. Spaces are small, but I think the owners assume you will spend most of your time at the track. It was fine for our one night stay. We felt very safe there.

Very pleasant owner Chasity got us checked in to a great site. Green grassy yard and a very level gravel pad. Excellent price of $20 for full hook up so we extended our stay to visit family and friends while in the area. Close to the Charlotte Speedway but off the main road enough to be quiet. We highly recommend!

Great place for a weekend, overnight or longer.
Super nice owners and the nightly rate can't be beat!
2 very nice Level spaces for a class A
Up front and some in the lower lot.
Close to everything you need and easy access to I-85 and I-485.
Full hook ups and great WIFI.
