A leisurely lunch at Paramount Coffee Project: Our picks were the classic crumbed egg on toast and a satisfying avocado toast. Their food and coffee certainly hit the mark, but leaned towards the pricier end. It’s the generous space and cozy ambiance that quietly wins us over.

The hidden Italian gem nestled in the heart of the city, it’s a popular local hangout where authentic Italian flavors meet a warm and welcoming ambiance.

Their thin crust pizza are outstanding, super crispy base and the Bolognese pizza (yes! it’s as delicious as you can imagine) is a must-try! Kilpatrick oysters and seafood stew are among our favorites.

Venture through the unassuming door front to uncover an open rooftop dining area that feels like an Italian backyard. Perfect for unwinding with friends!

This cafe is what a local cafe is all about. It’s simply named after the road it’s on. Very reasonably priced with generous portions, it’s the humblest food but made very nicely. The scrambled egg impressed me, not only hot, fluffy and silky, they added scallion! Big bonus point from me! The good old benny features a perfectly poached egg and loaded with mushrooms. Simple, humble but satisfying. Good coffee too. So nice to get to visit small gems like this near home ❤️
