Found this cute local coffee spot. Waited about 10 mins due to a line, probably because there's just one barista crafting the drinks and another one handling orders. but all with smiles!
'Cafe Al pepe' enriched with spices and strong aroma, quickly warmed me up—a fantastic choice for the chilly weather. 'Cappuccino cacao' was a bit bland to our liking, seems they threw cacao powder on top instead of mixing it in for flavor. There's seating available right next to the shop within the building.

Had an amazing night here, all thanks to our extremely awesome host, Jostin! He’s super friendly and accommodating. We felt very taken care of. Happy hour is legit - single wood fired bone marrow was incredibly tasty. Food was decent, and a big shoutout for the champagne and toffee ice cream they treated us to for our celebration! Highly recommend if you’re into a dimly lit, cozy atmosphere, top-notch service, and fantastic food in Chicago. Also a perfect date spot for special occasions or spot go with friends. Definitely returning to try other offerings if I get the chance!
so happy to found this place for conveyor belt sushi! delicious food, good place to have quick bite lunch. (They also got curry rice, donburi/rice bowl, tonkatsu, teriyaki, sashimi - you name it!)
2024 update: We often drop by when we have a craving for sushi. Absolutely adore the cozy, casual, homey vibe of this place. They provide booth seats, bar seats, and even regular table seats. Every visit leaves us feeling content, especially when starting with their hot tea followed by a delightful selection of freshly made sushi. You can grab directly from the conveyor belt or mark your choices on the menu. We happened to arrive late on a Sunday night, and not much was left. Huge thanks to the staff for the strawberry ice cream on the house! We felt valued and we sure will keep coming back for more.

Friendly staff, quick service, spacious place, seating seems available for work, various coffee beans on the shelf for purchase. We got a cappuccino and a latte both with oat milk. They are perfectly made and delicious. Would love to come again trying Love Affair.
