Pretty good place, ferries are available here for every 5 minutes per person charge is ₹15 and 2 wheeler charge is also ₹15.
I would suggest to take a 2 wheeler along with you as taking a rickshaw to the beach can be costly about ₹250 and during night time these fares can go upto ₹500-600 with rude behaviour of the rickshaw drivers.

Mall is pretty huge with many branded stores , located at thane. Mainly crowded during weekends. Reaching here with public transport from the station is not a problem. While going also rickshaw lines are well organised.
During weekends these queues might be much longer than usual.

Neat and clean railway station, one can go to CSMT (chhatrapati shivaji maharaj terminus) via harbour line and towards church gate station via western line. however both harbour and western line stations are one after the other, frequency for CSMT trains is a bit less where as frequency for churchgate trains is good Fast trains don't stop here.
