Pretty good place, ferries are available here for every 5 minutes per person charge is ₹15 and 2 wheeler charge is also ₹15.
I would suggest to take a 2 wheeler along with you as taking a rickshaw to the beach can be costly about ₹250 and during night time these fares can go upto ₹500-600 with rude behaviour of the rickshaw drivers.

Nice place....everybody can enjoy lots of fun by visiting here...first you can go to the borivali station (west) then by bus you go to the gorai creek bus stop .bus no. A294 then go by boat to the Essel world boat poin then walking distance you reached your destination THE GREAT PAGODA 👍
Best place to visit is the evening where u can see the sunset. Beautiful view
Visited with my friends it is very peaceful place and enjoyed the view from above. You have took ferry from Gorai which cost around 100₹ return.
It's a creek so don't expect the feeling of being on a beach.
Still the place is good to spend a moment preferably in evening after 4-5pm or early morning otherwise the beats on you very hard.
The place sometimes stinks and mosquitoes are around you if the wind is not hard.
You can catch aferry to go to the other side of creek, have a walk and come back.
If you have time and change your plan suddenly then you can go to Essel world or visit Pagoda.

One of the most popular place not only for fish market but also to reach many famous resorts and beaches. I always visit hear in evening to get fresh fish of all types. This place is good for residential purpose as well.
