Beautifully manicured arboretum, at the beginning of spring, beginning to wake up is magical. Worth a visit.

The beet kubbeh, quite literally, brought me to tears. The first bite took me straight to my late grandmother's kitchen table and I immediately got chills and started to tear up. These were flavors I didn't even know I was missing.... And how much I really missed them. This small, corner restaurant is easy to miss if you're not on the lookout, but keep a sharp eye, because if you only have ONE place to eat lunch in Jerusalem, it better be here - hands down, no question, I wouldn't even think twice. In addition to the nostalgic beet kubbeh, I also enjoyed the Rahmo Ketzitzah, a kabob-like, ground meat log in tomato sauce, along with the heady spices of the maqluba, punctuated with dollops of the fresh green schug which is probably one of the best I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy - spicy without being spicy. I cannot wait to make another sojourn to this lovely lovely place with friendly staff, and generally convivial atmosphere making you feel like you're eating in grandma's kitchen.

For a beachfront restaurant, the menu is ample, with some interesting menu items which I was surprised (and almost impressed) to see... Grilled Mediterranean sardines in particular was quite good, and the small Greek salad was fresh, but opt for the oil & vinegar for the dressing. Very kid friendly and service was great at accommodating a larger party of adults with a bunch of kids. Reasonably priced for seating right off the beach. Portions were ample.

Clean and small park between the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and The Main Brooklyn Library. There's a cute children's section with foam flooring, a jungle gym, and swings. Additionally there's a giant circle path surrounding the perimeter that people walk around. Lots of dogs.
