Had to wait over 35 minutes for a salad today. They were very understaffed which can happen ocassionally but should stop taking online orders on those days. Staff was really nice!!!
Incomparable restaurant for a special ocassion/ date with your partner (but be prepared to spend a lot!). Le Granouille’s ambiance is incredibly elegant, romantic, and luxurious. The service was amazing but a little rushed (probably because we went in at 8:30 and closing was at 10- would recommend going earlier). There was live jazz which was amazing. There was only one option for food (one two or three step menu). The lamb chops and the lobster appetizer were my favorite, although the salmon and the beef tartar were also very good. The desserts were good although I wish we would have spent extra and gotten the souffle! 10/10 evening, though I probably wont be back soon because of the very high prices.
Amazing hidden gem! Had an amazing time at Tomi Jazz listening to some music and eating delcicious bites. My favorite were the omelette and the croquetes; would nor have the mozzarella with prosciutto again because it didnt stand out as much. The service was impecable and the singer was lovely. The vibes were great. Overall I thought it was pretty affordable for the high quality. Came in around 5:30 and waited for 40 min to be seated (and ir was raining so I think ir was less busy than usual). Recommend coming in early and on a weekday. Will be coming again!
Great brunch spot! Came to The Penrose on a saturday at noon and found it suprisingly easy to get a table (at the bar, 25 min wait). The service and cozy atmosphere were great, the bartenders were lovely, and the food was quick to come out. Really liked the burger with tater tots. Their eggs benedict were fine but no my favorite. Really want to come back to checkout their sunday jazz nights!
My favorite gallery in New York ✨ There is something so special about this place. The portrait of Adele Bloch Bauer I is a master piece. Also love The Dancer. Best Klimts in the city. Came in on the first friday of the month (free entry!) and had a great time, although only one room was open. I 1000% recommend watching the 2015 Woman in Gold movie before coming in to appreciate the artwork more. Also recommend making a stop in Café Sarbasky when coming in (and reserving ahead if on a weekend)!
