George Bush Intercontinental Airport

This airport is huge. In my opinion looks good and clean. To get from one gate to the other will take you a while. I had 4 hours layover so I didn’t have any issues however, conexiones with short layovers will make you run.

The restrooms are well kept. You can find several stores for shipping including duty free store and many restaurants as well. I counted a least 4-5starbucks on my way to to terminal E.

Overall a good experience when stoppin

Great experience for a International terminal that once was like a terminal of the 70s. Now it has restaurants, shops and great restaurants areas. Dog even have a place for their needs and the Houston friendly way of all staff was extremely good.
Also very good security and police presence in all areas. Very happy to be traveling from such terminal. Good job Houston.

Honestly underwhelmed. The signs were kind of confusing, the foot traffic flow was suboptimal, and it was generally pretty dreary.
The baggage claim took forever, and the carousels were not marked with the flight.

The bathroom was backed up, and the hand dryer was broken. There were flies all over the food court.

The passenger pickup area was really cramped and crowded. They had people directing traffic, which was helpful, but it was still painful.

The free Wi-Fi was really terrible.

The TSA check line was pretty short. But the boarding pass scanner didn't work. And that meant it moved pretty slowly.

The only real upside is that the multiple terminals man that the walk to/from your gate is pretty short.

Great place to catch connecting flights. Nice food selections including a wonderful crepe place. Waiting areas are probably best I have seen with work lamps, charging areas, and variety of seating options.

TSA line is not clearly visible, it took us a little while to find it. The airport is fairly large to get from one terminal to another, actually you need to catch a skyway train.

There are plenty of fast food and bars around to kill time.

My overnight stay at this airport was unexpectedly pleasant, as I had the opportunity to explore its offerings. One standout feature was the convenience of the metro rail, which efficiently connected various terminals, saving valuable time between gates. As I traversed the airport, I couldn't help but notice the diverse array of dining options available, catering to a range of tastes and preferences. Moreover, the presence of automatic convenience stores stocked with drinks, snacks, and even essential medicines was a welcome convenience, particularly during the late hours.

The airport's restrooms also left a positive impression, boasting cleanliness and thoughtful amenities such as coat hangers and designated spaces for carry-ons. However, while the waiting rooms at the gates provided adequate seating, I couldn't help but feel that a few more comfortable seating options would greatly enhance the overall experience, especially for travelers facing longer layovers.

In summary, my experience at this airport was marked by its convenient transportation options, diverse dining scene, and thoughtful amenities. While there's certainly room for improvement in terms of seating comfort, the overall impression was overwhelmingly positive, making it a noteworthy stopover destination for travelers.

First time coming through this airport and was pleasantly surprised. There are so many stores and places to eat. Clean bathrooms from what I experienced. The only reason for my 4 stars was that the only place to work with an outlet option were the restaurants. I wish there was a quiet place I could do some work while waiting for my flight. Oh and some of those outlets did not work.
