I’ve seen other comments about the car park and it’s really confusing as there is nowhere in the car park to say you have to pay and when your inside the mall there’s a pay machine for the parking.
Other than that, it’s an outdated mall with a cafe and food court with limited options available.
There is a cinema on site. On one of the levels as you go from the car park to inside the mall, there’s some good art work.
There is also mini golf and I believe an escape room on level 1 which I found cool for kids.
Overall I would return but only to get what I need and leave.
Howick Village market

The Saturday market in Howick Village was below average compared to markets in Otara, Manurewa and Avondale, I was able to walk through within 5 minutes with no motivation to stop. I walked through the food area which only provides bakery food such as bread and small pastries. There were a couple of clothing stalls mainly for children like home knitted jerseys for kids. There were some arts and crafts and a plant stall with limited plants. It’s a good place to come to if your in Howick running errands or are genuinely bored as there are awesome beaches nearby to visit.
Good place to shop. There’s a lotto inside also.
Enjoy using self check outs.
Plenty of parking.
A shame that there are usually beggars infront of the super market.
It’s a hit and miss with Jetstar!
For the last 8 odd years I’ve been flying with Jetstar, I’ve only experienced only a couple of delays.
There was an instance where I was flying to Aus and was in Duty Free, one of the first to check in. While waiting in duty free I got carried away with food and drinks that I missed boarding time. Jetstar need to announce boarding and final call throughout the airport just like the other airlines which Jetstar confirmed they don’t. They only announce it within the gated area. However, after some talking with a male Jetstar staff, he got us on the next available flight which was very nice of him.
Sometimes the staff are friendly and some are not but I guess it’s unpredictable just like any other company.
I booked a wrong flight and called the call centre within a couple minutes to get it credited so I can book again, I was told they don’t do credits but can book me on another flight. The customer services wasn’t looking for me so while I was on the phone, I was searching flights myself and letting her know which flight suited me.
There are no entertainment on flights and you pay extra for food and blankets.
Overall, if your going on a short haul flight domestic, pacific, or Australia, I could recommend this Airline, however not on any long haul flights or if your flying with elderly or kids.
