They’ll take your money and you’ll never get your food.
Seriously- don’t bother. They are scammers.
I placed an order on Uber eats from Middlebrook
Firstly, you think it’s cheap but they charge you for everything! Even 50p for salt 🧂.
I waited for the order and when the arrival time passed I called.
The lady was rude and standoffish and just said yea he’s on his way. She said he’d call me. Another twenty mins passes, no order, no call. I called back- no answer. Called again and again. No answer. Called again - now she’s blocked my number or turned off the phone.
I’d given up when the driver calls me (this is no an hour after I first called the shop). He’s apparently ten mins away and had some problems as he got pulled over by the police.
He said he was fifteen mins away and the food was apparently still hot and slushie not melted!
I waited another half and hour. Tried to call him, text him - no reply. Called again and again and tried the shop again - no response.
Three hours after I placed the order it arrived. Was completely cold and inedible and to be honest even if had have been hot it still would have been pretty awful food. All in all I spent over two hours chasing the order up and tried to call at least 30 times! Not to mention the texts!
