Stopped to eat lunch in their parking lot and decided to visit the museum. Range of topics from local military history, settler history, agricultural history, and church history. Old buildings filled with period items. Well worth an hour to visit. A lot of work has gone into the site. Well done.
Visited on September especially to see the fissure caves and liverworts and ferns on the cave walls. Trail was good. Accessed from 9th concession road. Small parking lot. Only met 3 other people on the trail. Well worth the visit especially if you explore the caves. Be careful not to crush delicate plants.
Great museum that highlights the early transportation and commercial roots of Brockville, some artists of Brockville, war with the Americans, the tunnel, and early life. Some paintings hang in the museum. Clean washroom. Friendly and efficient staff person with a sense of humour. An excellent overview of Brockville life and history. Visited late July 2022
