SCAM ALERT 🚨 DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT A REAL FACIAL SPA. First off, the Space is beautiful and relaxing and the staff super friendly. …but there are 100 other beautiful spas in New York with talented caring trained staff.
However, I CANNOT recommend the spa services AT ALL. I got their SIGNATURE FACIAL , which by the way ended up billing over $500. this is probably double the price of a real facial in nyc, they just rubbed some lotion on My face for 45 minutes. I specifically asked the front desk for an extraction facial where they extract using steam. I again asked the therapist during the treatment and she said “no we don’t do that and i’m not even trained to do that.”
She proceeded to spend the last 20 minutes and rub me ( not even a massage but patted me down like a child) on my scalp shoulders and arms. I asked her if she could give me a massage on my carpal tunnel area on my forearms and she refused - “sorry I’m not licensed for massage”
Total waste of 90 minutes of my life. MANAGER REFUSED REFUND OR ACTUAL REMEDY, when we complained that no facial extraction was given to me even though that’s the service that was booked and requested. She “investigated” and refused to offer any refund.
