Kerbray

Beautiful park equiped with a children's play area, BBQ areas, picnic benches and some stunning views. There's a rotunda in the centre and restaurants nearby. A few information boards talk about the history of the park and parking can be found in several places along the nearby road, although it gets very busy at the weekends and evenings.

Breakfast was surprisingly quite good, although unfortunately wasn't the biggest fan of the coffee (personal preference). Nice venue under the trees with ample seating, and the staff were friendly.

The food was really great from this bakery and the coffee was reasonable too! Staff were friendly and the location was great within the heart of UQ.

This was a fascinating place to explore, with both new observatories and older buildings around the site, all within walking distance from each other. Tours are available on certain days but not necessarily needed. At the top there's a breathtaking views, a few biking tracks too and lots of kangaroos in the area.

A lovely walk around the lake, and great for strollers or wheelchairs here as the path is smooth and laid with tarmac. Some great spots to see a range of birdlife and even some turtles, with the path being mostly a loop, with lots of adjacent tracks of different distances.

There's a few information boards and sculptures around this part of the nature reserve, with the walk across the lake being superb.
