Good for a cup of coffee after class, It was very comfortable to have an iced coffee there. But breakfast or lunch are expensive and small, and there are better options in school.

Myself and two colleagues came for lunch, we all ordered one after the other, table service. The person that delivered our drinks was rude and stared down her nose at us when we advised that one of the drinks she delivered was incorrect, secondly the third meal took a very long time to come out, two of us had finished our meal before the third even came out. I have given this cafe a few try’s now and each time the staff there treat me as if I am below them, I feel as though I am not good enough to eat at this place. Overall a bad experience. I’ll be sticking to coffee from Darwin’s from now on.

The café holds a prestigious reputation among the esteemed community of students and staff at the University of Queensland (UQ). Being the only café nestled in the heart of the campus, it has become a cherished gathering spot for those seeking a delightful respite from their academic pursuits. With its ample seating areas, it serves as an oasis of relaxation amidst the bustling university life.

Having personally experienced this café, I can attest that it possesses an air of unassuming charm that sets it apart from other establishments. While the menu offerings may not significantly deviate from those of other cafes, it is the intangible essence and the warm ambiance that captivates patrons. As a connoisseur of coffee culture, I find solace in the unique cup designs that are crafted with meticulous attention to detail, reflecting the café's commitment to individuality and creativity.

Moreover, one cannot overlook the significance of supporting local businesses, especially in an era dominated by chain cafes. This café's non-chained status is a testament to its determination to maintain authenticity and uphold a distinct identity. This is reflected in every cup of coffee, every delectable treat, and every interaction with the friendly staff who add a personal touch to every visit.

Beyond its gastronomic offerings, this café has become a melting pot of ideas, conversations, and camaraderie. It is a place where individuals from diverse backgrounds and disciplines converge, forming connections and fostering a sense of community that extends beyond the confines of the university.

In conclusion, while some may perceive this café as being no different from others, I find solace in its genuine atmosphere and unique character. As a cherished establishment in the heart of the UQ campus, it continues to delight students and staff alike, leaving a lasting impression on those who seek an authentic café experience. So, the next time you find yourself at UQ, be sure to visit this hidden gem and indulge in a memorable journey through coffee and camaraderie.
I love the vibes, food and coffee. They are so good.

Very pretty and shady spot to get work done. Relatively quiet too considering it is far away from the usual bustle of the uni. It’s a lovely spot to break up the usual city scenery.

Breakfast was surprisingly quite good, although unfortunately wasn't the biggest fan of the coffee (personal preference). Nice venue under the trees with ample seating, and the staff were friendly.

They *used to* server the best chips on campus :( disappointed today .

They do have a nice outdoor area if you don’t mind the birds wanting a bite of your lunch. Good menu and coffee.
