Fish Shop Restaurant
2023 Nov 24
We recently had the pleasure of dining at the Fish Shop Restaurant in Ballater, and We have to say that it was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. The restaurant is located in a charming old building, and the interior is warm and inviting. The staff are friendly and attentive, and they were very helpful in making recommendations for our meal.

We started with the seafood platter, which was a feast for the eyes and the palate. - roaster lobsters muscles. Scallop The seafood was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. We also had the white wine sauce, which was absolutely delicious. It also had lunchtime two courses meal for £19.50. both of which were cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, and the presentation was beautiful.

The toilets were clean and well-stocked, and there was even a baby changing facility. This is always a good sign of a restaurant that cares about its customers.

I highly recommend the Fish Shop Restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and memorable dining experience.

Library of Birmingham

**Review of Birmingham Library**

The Birmingham Library is a stunning piece of architecture, and a must-visit for anyone in the city. The building is clad in reflective metal, and its angular design gives it a futuristic look. The interior is just as impressive, with soaring ceilings and a light and airy feel.

One of the best things about the library is its secret garden. Located on the seventh floor, the garden offers stunning views of the city skyline. It's a great place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of the city below.

There is also a lift from the seventh floor to the top of the building, where there is an even better view. The lift is free to use, and it's a great way to see the city from a different perspective.

Parking is available at Snow Hill, which is just a short walk from the library. The parking costs £7.20 per day, but you can save money by booking in advance or using an app.

The library is also well-served by public transport. The nearest bus stop is just outside the library, and there are also several train stations within walking distance.

Overall, the Birmingham Library is a fantastic place to visit. It's a great place to read, study, or simply relax. The architecture is impressive, the views are stunning, and it's easy to get to by public transport or car.

Looks amazing from the outside, but we didn’t go in as the tickets is £20 Per head. We have 9 of us and it would cost us almost £200. It looks pretty amazing from outside. The different colour of the back ground. Free parking nearby on street parking. Cafe is nearby if you need to get
Some tea and cake or lunch.
Guy Street Park

Nice little oasis near the guy’s hospital. Very handy to walk through to get to the hospital. Good for summer to escape the heat and have your takeaway lunch there. Good view from the park to Shard. Ncp car park right next to it and short walk from the station and hospital to get there.
Indoor soft play for children. There are a few game machines and electric scooters for £1 a play. Birthday party for two hours is £10 per child with food and soft drinks. Cafe onsite serves drinks and food and you can also buy sweets. Toilets are available with baby changing facilities. Staff are friendly and providing professional service. We had a birthday party here. It went well. Recommended when the weather is good.
