Nothing short of fabulous from start to finish! The most perfect afternoon tea I've ever had! The Park room is beautifully furnished, it's a large space but feels intimate. The fresh flower arrangements were stunning an we were serenaded by a professional pianist on a grand piano.
Our waitress was so polite and helpful, she was so lovely and explained all the different foods and choices, the tea menu is 4 pages alone!
I can highly recommend the champagne afternoon tea, there's a reason this is a 5* hotel. Shame we could never afford to actually sleep there 🤣

A hidden gem. Beautiful, peaceful place to walk, great with dogs. Lots of open space, fields and woods to wander through in the many little paths. Stream runs through the valley, which is great for the dogs and on a hot day. Little car park, which I've never found full, but on a very tight bend in the road.
Not worth a walk if it's been raining a lot though, it turns into a bog!
