This was a very interesting historical site. The guided tour was interesting. The docent covered the history of the Prevost and Rosencrantz families that lived at the house. The house also was decorated with many period artifacts including some that are original to the house.
This was an interesting park with some nice views of the Hudson River and Palisades. There were also alot of large, impressive Oak trees in the park, as well.
I enjoyed the James Audubon Center at Mill Grove. The museum was interesting and the personnel there were friendly and informative. I also enjoyed the trails around the site and the live birds that they had on exhibit.
I enjoyed the Jack A. Markell Trail. I took it from Wilmington to New Castle on my bike. It was a pleasant and scenic ride.
This was a very interesting historical home and museum. The guided tour of the house was very good. The guide went through the history of the Carroll family and provided details about the historical artifacts in the house. I really enjoyed it.
