A casual and compact place for hearty and delicious Korean gimbap and other traditional Korean dishes.
I enjoy eating both Japanese sushi and Korean gimbap. However, the former tend to leave a sweet mouth-fill and the latter, to me, taste fresher with the inclusion of more cooked and pickled vegetables. Jang Go Mama's gimbap ($17-$23) caters to vegetarian and meat eaters - all freshly made with good flavour balance. The fat cylindrical roll has a thin ring of rice and a very generous ratio of fillings to rice.
And if you prefer something warming for winter - the simple, but hearty and delicious dumpling soup ($22) is a good fit. Or even a refreshing bowl of cold noodles ($25) with a chilled vinegar-ish broth, topped with crunchy pear, red cabbage and cucumber, and full of sesame seeds aroma.
Service is with a smile.
Note: There are a also couple of kerb-side tables available

A North Indian restaurant with an old-World ambiance, excellent naan and curries.
The butter chicken is very good - it is creamy, buttery, tangy and not too sweet. The non-vegan version is spicier (more chili heat). The goat curry (Meat Beliram) is excellent - tender, fall apart meat in a rich sauce that is full of warming spiced notes.
And the Naan - whether garlic or kalonji (sesame and nigella seeds) - puffy, soft with charred bits, perfect for scooping up those luxurious curry sauces.
And if KFC is your thing - you might be interested to try the PFC (Punjabi Fried chicken).
Service is friendly.

Marvel at the architecture of the Glass dome on top of Berlin Parliamentary building, and enjoy a spectacular view of Berlin city from its viewing platform.
Its free to visit, and there is a security check before you are whisked by lift to the terrace and given a audio guide.
The audio guide points out Buildings of note around Berlin city as you walk up the ramp spiral to the viewing platform. Architecture details of the dome and parliamentary details are given as you walk down the ramp.

Clean, retro-look Asian Food Court.
There are certain advantages to eating at a food court - no booking required, no time limit, no surcharge and great for groups with a variety of food taste.
Paramount food court is one of my regular - simply because it satisfy my hunger for deep fried whole fish Thai-style. At Mee Dee, deep fried Tilapia ($20) is ultra crispy, salted and comes with an addictive - tangy, salty, chilli hot - dipping sauce, that is simply fantastic with white rice. For the same price, you get crispy Tilapia with white rice, chilli sauce and steam vegetables at the Asiatique stall. Of course, this is also where I regularly get my favourite snacks - deep fried banana (Asian-style) and deep fried lotus root (Japanese-style). The latter is so much better than potato crisp (imho).
Note: It can get very busy during office lunch hours. Not all stalls open everyday.

Tram # 109 terminus stop to Sandridge Lookout - a pleasant, mostly level, easy walk on concrete, boardwalk and gravel pathway, passing beaches, children's playground, with distant views of a working port and city skyline at the end. Popular with dog walkers, fisherman, joggers, cyclists.
There are toilet facilities near Beacon Cove terminus tram stop and at Sandridge Beach.
Note: Don't follow Google Map route - take the beach or playground route near Todd Road.
