We went at the Little Barn at the White Barn Inn for the lunch. You can choose “à la carte”or take the two courses menu for $28.

The two courses are one first and one main or one main and one dessert. I went for the later with a tempura paddock and dessert, while my wife took the lobster roll à la carte for $32.

We share the dessert, a lava cake, with some caramel ice cream. Truly the dessert was our first in the Maine as something really well made and absolutely amazing.

The service was spectacular from start to finish.

The lunch is served in the second room or outside and not in the main barn itself, which only the diner is served.
Nice church established in the late nineteen century. It’s particularly interesting as constructed of irregular big rocks. The interior is modest but it’s easy to have an admiration for it. The stained glass works inside the church are really nice.
Walker’s Point

From Blowing Cave Park in front of Walker’s Point you can take a picture if the former president George H.W. Bush summer house.

When he was president the secret service even established surveillance spot at the Goat House Light island, the last lighthouse operated by a family in the state, to keep an eye on Walker’s Point compound.
Bar Harbor Shore path

Nice little path along the shore, beginning in the city at Agamont park and finishing 20 mins later at Wayman Lane. It was very foggy when we walked it, but it was still enjoyable.
Perfect trail to have it all: the view, the reward at the beach, and an easy and quick return.

It’s a loop that you should be started climbing the trail stairs, until you reach the mountain top for a look at the harbor, then descent toward the beach to rest and return by the gravel path toward the parking area.

It takes about 1h30 going slowly. The return is about 20 mins on the gravel path.
