ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) council operated car park. Quite handy if you are staying at the Premier Inn Hotel. If you pre register online to park in council ANPR car parks then you simply drive in and park; payment is automatic. Cost £20 max per day.

A very useful free car park with some large ish holes and without toilets, but very handy placed for walking around Cannock Chase following a Komoot App hiking route. All round good if you take care to avoid the bumpy bits of the car park.

Visited a friend who has been at the QE for some time and then moved to Moseley Hall for a couple of days then to Willow House at West Heath Hospital for rehab. The ward and staff were very pleasant and helpful. We think that her rehab will progress positively of the next few weeks and hopefully she'll be going home before long :)

Cool walk through the gardens taking note of the Christopher Columbus monument.

Wolvesfest 2016 :) Many brilliant music acts washed down with Broughs real ale, all undercover in a rather plush carpeted marquee. Different styles of food outside from a few kiosks with a special mention for the Asian snacks!
Also a quick mention for the most impressive portable toilets which kept most of the visitors happy.
For me its a must attend event next year I hope :)
