A great spot to go for a quiet walk with not much elevation change. There are a few different trails to choose from. Our dogs thoroughly enjoy coming here.

A short, moderate hike with a solid view of Somes Sound at the top and access to a small rocky beach at the far end of the loop. If you want a quick hike with good views and easily navigable terrain, I'd recommend this trail.

I highly recommend passing by this Lighthouse, whether by purchasing a boat tour ticket or otherwise. Boat tours will not get too close so as not to disturb the wildlife, but you still get plenty close enough to see lots of birds (including bald eagles) and seals.
