This is a really popular place and reservation is recommended. We had Samgyupsal which is the pork belly slices. The highlight was the spicy pork bolgogi to be eaten with the green lettuce. The Bokkum Udon which is a fried undon was also delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. The good food, with Soju and atmosphere of this place makes it a great dinner place.
A new mall but not fully opened as yet. There is a large hawker stall section yet to be opened. The mall is not air conditioned and with a large open air atrium. It looks like the designer was hoping for a flow of fresh air and breeze. At the moment it works and is fairly cool but not sure if this concept will work when the atrium is filled up with pop up shops. The signage to the carpark is missing and if you are not careful, very easy to miss it. The carpark will not be sufficient as it is small. They do not have the green lights seen in most mall to indicate where the empty lots are.
Small Italian restaurant in old part of town. The ground floor was full so needed to walk up the small spiral staircase to the second floor. The set menu for lunch is good value. The entree of poached tomato was flavourful. The risotto was ok. Good ambience and efficient service.
Highly informative and engaging tour led by Andre whose passion for the subject really shines through! Thoroughly enjoyed the tour on Christmas Eve and highly recommend it. The use of Ripper vision to project photos along the way made this tour even more special!
Cosy and intimate restaurant. The 7 course is quite heavy so best to just nibble on their bread. Some memorable dish was the wrapped pasta with shaved abalone core. Also the 100 years old vinegar. The chocolate dessert could be improved. Service was efficient but patchy. Suffered an incident when the wine glass was tipped over by the staff and my whole shirt was drenched. In such a case, perhaps the service recovery could have been better.
