Don’t like the overall design of this hawker centre.
Spacious ✅ but the Malay / Muslim stalls - 2 units of Encik Tan (open), 1 unit stall for Mamak (open), 1 for kedai Makcik (not opened yet) and 1 kebab stall (not opened yet) - located at the far end of this hawker centre.
The crowd - so so… no hawker vibes.
The carpark layout is another headache. 🤪

New mall! With most of what you'll need. Best part is the hawker center located on level 2. Most stalls seem to have a budget option that'll only cost you 3.20.
The mall isn't the biggest but enough for the heartlands. There's an ntuc in the basement and lots of tuition centers on level 2.
There are some mid range restaurants for families to eat at which makes the whole place feel very homely and casual.
Could total see myself staying around the area and coming down regularly to get stuff

Direct link from Buangkok MRT. If you are looking for foods, there are plenty of choices here including hawker center at the second floor.
Nothing much on retail on first floor and supermarket at basement.
Still on development still but the link to the mall is now covered unlike last time need to go through the open space.

The second floor Buangkok hawker centre has a variety of food. There is ample space between the tables. This eating place have alot of big fans too.
There are some other nice ,air conditioned eateries too.
The Community club is there .
The NTUC Finest is huge!
Worth a visit .

Decent mall with mix of outdoor and indoor experiences. Not amazingly large but also decent enough for a heartlander mall. Very conveniently located outside of Buangkok MRT.
It is the first integrated development that comprises of a 3-level retail component, a hawker centre, childcare centre, community club.
They also offer over 90 brands such as FairPrice Finest, Collins, Kenny Rogers, McDonald’s, Uniqlo, MindChamps, City Hotpot and many more. There are also community spaces like the playground and shower facilities at Level 1 - very elderly and kids friendly.
With a diversified selection of essential offerings and ease of convenience to hawker culture, childcare services as well as being able to have group activities in a brand-new community centre, Sengkang Grand Mall is set to redefine the joy of living in Buangkok.

A new mall but not fully opened as yet. There is a large hawker stall section yet to be opened. The mall is not air conditioned and with a large open air atrium. It looks like the designer was hoping for a flow of fresh air and breeze. At the moment it works and is fairly cool but not sure if this concept will work when the atrium is filled up with pop up shops. The signage to the carpark is missing and if you are not careful, very easy to miss it. The carpark will not be sufficient as it is small. They do not have the green lights seen in most mall to indicate where the empty lots are.

The place is opened, and many stalls are still under renovation/upgrading. We need to come back another six months to see the actual condition of the mall with all facilities fully operational. Self-help Digital information board is quite helpful for making search and directory.
Parking space design is not user-friendly and has no indication on empty lots. Signage to exit is not very prominent and could be improved further.
