The food at this restaurant is average at best. I tried their lunch special featuring chicken teriyaki with rice saturated in teriyaki sauce, a sad salad, a bland mushroom soup, and an unremarkable California maki. I requested a miso soup instead of the mushroom soup listed on the menu, but they don't allow substitution which is sad. Despite the steep prices, the quality falls short compared to other Japanese restaurants nearby that has lower prices and better food.

I love what they've done with the place. The bathroom is clean. The reason I gave it a 4 star is because they are a little bit overpriced. We ordered their Lamb curry, Tikka masala, Shrimp vindaloo and the mango Lassi. They don't taste extraordinary and they don't come with rice! So that's a 3 star for the food. Mango Lassi doesn't taste much and it's pricey. I am sad they don't really meet my expectations set by Punjab Palace. The place looks great and modernized though. Still debating whether to go back to this restaurant.
