This was always an Indian place. But now its a new place newly be modeled. Really clean and nice inside. I ordered the food to go, and it was amazing, and the portion size was really good. Everything was wrapped very well. No spillage and stayed very hot all the way to the house, really good food with a really good deal. Try the tawa goat and mixed grill.
The food was ok, have had better. They used to be really good when it was only the Corona location. As for the service it was very mediocre. None of the staff could answer any questions. They even got our order wrong. Did not bring us any onions and chilies till we were almost done with our food and that was after asking them multiple times. I had taken some of my work colleagues for dinner and the waiter kept ignoring me even though I was the one placing the order and kept trying to ask my colleagues to order. Even they were wondering if the guy was ok, he just did not seem to be all there.
We met friends here for dinner. We had met the same friends here many years before when it was under a different management. The First thing we asked the server was whether we could order very mildly spiced plates. Although the answer was "sure", It was evident that that wasn't possible. The food was very delicious but way too hot for some of our palates. We ate well and sipped water, which was a bit scarce for our needs. But the atmosphere was pleasant and we enjoyed our time with friends. It was a very clean and neatly kept dining room with a contemporary flair.
The food was AMAZING! Best Indian food restaurant I've to. My kids are picky eaters and they liked it. We had 4 different dishes and each of them were delicious. Definitely will be returning there.
I always say I'm going to take pictures but I always forget when my good arrives. The place is super clean always smells like they've just moped and wiped the tables down. We have never gone for dinner so I don't know if they get really busy around that time. Lunch time is usually a little slower. Food is always great. The garlic naan here is the best I've ever had. The butter chicken is amazing. The service is a little lacking. But not terrible
Great quality north Indian delicacies. Good service, nice staff, very nice taste and variety menu. All the curries and appetizers are great. The place is close to the ontario mall and near the highway exit making it a good spot to have dinner after a long day shopping.
I love what they've done with the place. The bathroom is clean. The reason I gave it a 4 star is because they are a little bit overpriced. We ordered their Lamb curry, Tikka masala, Shrimp vindaloo and the mango Lassi. They don't taste extraordinary and they don't come with rice! So that's a 3 star for the food. Mango Lassi doesn't taste much and it's pricey. I am sad they don't really meet my expectations set by Punjab Palace. The place looks great and modernized though. Still debating whether to go back to this restaurant.
