Cool little restaurant with authentic Mexican dishes and margheritas by the pitcher. The sides were a little lacking in my opinion. The black beans and rice was dry and the green salad was fresh but had no dressing. My Carne asada was tasty and plenty for me but my husband would need a lot more to satisfy his appetite.
My children loved this place, especially the Brain and heart exhibits. I enjoyed the flight exhibit and my husband loved the machine area. The cafe area is large with plenty of seating and lots of food, drinks and snack options. You are also able to bring your own food as many people packed lunches for their kids and themselves. For additional fees, you can purchase tickets to the planetarium and the traveling exhibits. This is definitely cool place to bring the kids or to come enjoy as an adult.
Doyles Pour House

Usual irish fare, with some local seafood dishes as well. A bit of a wait to get our apps after we got our drinks. 25 minutes seems a bit excessive for the place being less than half full with customers. Boneless wings were dry without ordering extra sauce. The spicy garlic sauce was good though. Bacon cheeseburger was cooked just right and the garlic fries were loaded with minced garlic. Garlic clams tasted too much like beer for my liking and were a little tough. Peanut butter pie was just what I needed though.
Sea Girt Lighthouse

This lighthouse's history starts back in 1896. There was a stretch of coast between Navesink and Barnegat lighthouses that was dark at that time so Sea Girt lighthouse was constructed to fill that gap. Place was not open on a Saturday but has hours on Sundays 2-4. One star off because I wish it had tours available on Saturday . Hopefully, we'll get back there to take the tour soon.

My kids loved this section within the Zoo. They had a great time making friends with the goats and visiting the turkeys and chickens.
