Fantastic small museum just by the Halifax waterfront. Really nice staff as well. Open all day till 5pm. They have really great exhibits of different ship reproductions as well as detailed stories on the titanic, the Halifax explosion, as well as treasures from shipwrecks. Great place to visit if you’re ever in the Halifax downtown area.
This is a beautiful park for family and everyone! There is a pond where you can sit at benches to watch the ducks swim. The park Hub and academy is nearby as well where you can rent bikes as a family to ride. There are different playgrounds for both young children and adults. There is also a free gym exercise area as well.
The park is also big enough for a family picnic as you can sit anywhere and enjoy the sun! Street parking is available the other side of the park and also a small side by outside the park gates on the High Street. This park is a great asset to the community and especially for children to come and release tension.
