The Linguini al Nero di Seppia was a bit disappointing as the flavors were a bit bland. There was not much garlic flavor and did not have much cuttlefish.
The Radiatori in Cartoccio was much better. While not the best pasta in the city, this dish is worth trying. I’d recommend this dish.

Our experience at Shiki was only okay. For NYC, the quality is not the best for the price. I’ve been to much better omakase places in the city with much fresher and higher quality fish & seafood for the same price point. Overall, I’d unfortunately hesitate to recommend Shiki. If you must go, I’d recommend the $65 piece set. We had the $100 17 piece set, and it didn’t feel worth it.
The staff were welcoming and friendly. We visited on Valentine’s day and they surprised each couple with a complimentary rose which was a nice gesture.

I tried the octopus, arancini, burrata, caesar salad, and rigatoni lamb sausage. While I enjoyed each dish, I do wish that the rigatoni had more lamb sausage and octopus. Overall, decent food but nothing too special or unique.
I had the cocktail happy hour 2 for $20. I tried the goodnight kiss and the between the sheets. I thoroughly enjoyed both these drinks, both of which had great dimension, balance, and visual appeal. I highly recommend their cocktails.

The GamJaTang at Han Bat is the worst I’ve ever had. It completely lacks flavour and does not taste anything like an authentic pork bone soup / GamJaTang. It also does not contain much meat on the bone. The rice was not fresh. The Banchan was not the best either, but passable.
I certainly won’t be returning and would not recommend.

The snacks (crispy potato, pear pate de fruit, and zucchini bread) were delicious and had multiple dimensions of flavor. I highly recommend the crispy salt cod for the table.
The yellowfin crudo and seared scallop delightful and light. The coffee rubbed steak was a bit disappointing. I ordered medium rare, and it was overcooked and tough.
I really enjoyed the dessert — the berry trifle.
While the meal was overall delightful and decent, it is a bit overpriced for the quality of food. The service was decent, however the atmosphere does not feel very upscale.
