Unsuspecting to-go counter sushi that doesn’t seem like it would be good at first glance, but was excited to try it because of the reviews. I have to say even with high expectations it exceeded them for a hole in the wall sushi spot! The pieces were huge and fish was all very fresh. The staff is also so kind and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back regularly!

Great meal! Got the Pollack soup and extra strong fermented soy bean stew, both simple but flavorful and delicious. Portions are big and definitely worth it. Will definitely be coming back.

Most underwhelming Japanese food I’ve had in many years. Sashimi was ok but overpriced for the quality. Udon was inedible — overcooked and topped with cheap carrots broccoli onions and cabbage. Broth had 0 depth, just tasted liked onion water. Wait staff was polite and friendly, but for this price point I would not recommend or ever come back. There are so many other authentic Japanese places in the area.
