Ah, the quest for local delights around JB's KSL Mall led us to Restaurant Sing Li, just a hop and a skip away from the bustling mall. But here's the thing, if you're not a fan of sweltering heat, you might want to think twice, because this place brings the heat – both in terms of temperature and flavor!
This restaurant, or should I say, food haven, is like a treasure trove of culinary options. With numerous food stalls in the mix, we set out to try some of their star players. We ordered the Char Kway Teow, which we heard was the best, curry noodle, and Lor Mee.
Now, folks, I have to be honest here; the food was, well, just so-so. It's like that movie you go into with high expectations, and it turns out to be a letdown. If you're absolutely famished and the thought of walking any farther is daunting, it'll do in a pinch. But if you have the luxury of time and an adventurous spirit, I'd recommend exploring other options in the area.
So, Restaurant Sing Li near KSL Mall, while not a total disappointment, doesn't quite steal the show. It's like a warm-up act, but the main attraction might just be a stone's throw away, waiting to delight your taste buds. Happy food hunting! 🍲🍜🚶♂️

Nestled in the bustling streets of Malacca, Teo Kee Kopitiam caters primarily to local residents and nearby workers. While breakfast offerings are limited, lunchtime presents a broader array of options. During our morning visit, we sampled a classic spread, including tea, Milo drink, butter toast bread, curry chicken, half-boiled eggs, and fried bee Hoon. Brace yourself for the fiery kick of the curry chicken, though it may not suit all palates. The fried bee Hoon, with its dry and sweet taste, offers a unique twist, but might not appeal to everyone. While the tea was average, the Milo drink stood out with its rich flavor. Overall, Teo Kee Kopitiam provides a cozy atmosphere and a taste of authentic local fare, making it a convenient spot for a quick bite or a leisurely meal.
