Visited on 28 Apr 2024 for breakfast before groceries shopping at ksl. The fried kway teow is the best.. dumpling mee is salty especially the soup, and dim sum is pricey, though tastes still OK.

A very crambed coffeeshop just beside KSL mall. We ordered the fried kway teow RM8, handmade noodle RM7 and curry chee cheong fun RM16 (6 pc consist of 2x brinjal, 2x broccoli, 2x fish ball - shocking price).
Overall all 3 tasted nice.
CKT cockles although generous amount but very tiny bits. Fragrant in taste, dry and oily like our SG version.
The best dish for me was the Yong handmade noodle. Very Malaysian style and ingredients were all fresh.

Many better coffee shops around. Fried Kway Teow is bad, Dim Sum is pricey, prata is decently good and the only saving grace is the 10 years old coffee boy who is very service oriented. Too many touts trying to sell stuffs here and that including fake monk trying to get alm$.

Delicious hokkien prawn noodles for 9RM here even though the place isn't air-conditioned. Iced Kopi 2.50 RM.

I used to eat Thin Noddle dry and CKT.
I recommend noddle dry with soup for good breakfast
A bit difficult to get a table if you go there with group.

Ah, the quest for local delights around JB's KSL Mall led us to Restaurant Sing Li, just a hop and a skip away from the bustling mall. But here's the thing, if you're not a fan of sweltering heat, you might want to think twice, because this place brings the heat – both in terms of temperature and flavor!

This restaurant, or should I say, food haven, is like a treasure trove of culinary options. With numerous food stalls in the mix, we set out to try some of their star players. We ordered the Char Kway Teow, which we heard was the best, curry noodle, and Lor Mee.

Now, folks, I have to be honest here; the food was, well, just so-so. It's like that movie you go into with high expectations, and it turns out to be a letdown. If you're absolutely famished and the thought of walking any farther is daunting, it'll do in a pinch. But if you have the luxury of time and an adventurous spirit, I'd recommend exploring other options in the area.

So, Restaurant Sing Li near KSL Mall, while not a total disappointment, doesn't quite steal the show. It's like a warm-up act, but the main attraction might just be a stone's throw away, waiting to delight your taste buds. Happy food hunting! 🍲🍜🚶‍♂️

This coffee shop outside KSL shopping mall is really crowded. It is very cramped inside & hot like oven. There are many food stalls inside, but it's hard to find an empty table. Ordered the very popular chay kway teow, tasty but a bit too dry. The pork noodle soup is quite ok but nothing special. Price wise, it's not expensive.
