definitely a sight to behold, although one would expect the basilica to be more famous worldwide considering what it has to offer. the light arrangement regarding the statue of Moses was particularly intriguing, along with the history and engineering behind it.
truly a hidden gem of the city, and one you can find in the very centre of it; stroll by basilica di san giovanni and take a right near the entrance to the museum, and you'll find yourself transported in a different world altogether.
the classy, well maintained garden with parrots flying about, the fountain in the middle and the history buzzing in the walls of the palazzo were all downright entrancing, filling you with an impeccable wanderlust you can only ever feel in italy. definitely one of ym favourite places in all of rome, and you can go in for free.

a beautiful centre to some dreamlike surroundings. it's a shame it's currently busy because of traffic jams and you can't quite see everything due to the road work on metro line C, but it still offers a magnificent tribute to all the historical monuments around.
