The arhitecture is stunning.A bonus is that children under 18 have free entrance on the roof and adults have a tax of 13€

This is indeed an absolute must see monument and a central hub in Rome, connecting several other mega historical spots. The monument itself is magnificent, one must see all sides of it to take in the beauty of this architecture. You can walk up the stairs up to the roof, from where the views are spectacular. You can see all the way up to the Colosseum! You could of course take a nice walk all the way up to the Colosseum from here, through Via dei Fori Imperiali along the Forum on both sides. And you could walk the opposite direction from Piazza Venezia towards the Fontana Di Trevi and all the way down along Via del corso to Piazza del popolo. Plenty to see all along the way and you should plan on at least half a day walking these areas. There is so much major history surroundings these areas and a lot to learn and take in!

Cool place to see. The buildings and structures are huge and can be best seen from the road crossing. There is a small part to stand and take photographs of the place and the palace. The balcony you can see is where there were political speaches given by politicians.

Never heard of this spot before visiting but this should be at the top of the list for seeing when in Roma. The monument size and beauty will blow your mind. Highly recommend taking the elevator to the top of the monument where you can see the entire surrounding area including great views of the colosseum and Basillica

Nice white marble structure, but relatively modern. There are several ancient ruins nearby and this structure was built on some of those ancient ruins. Few chapters in History has been lost. Worth spending sometime.
